Alienware is nowhere near the quality of Falcon Northwest. These guys make the supreme gaming machines for less than most of the other gaming PC companies...
You're just going to have to accept that in order to make the kind of improvements that consumers demand, over the course of a couple years the entire system WILL need replacing, that's just the physical limit.
No board will make everyone happy, if you have all those old peripherals you're not on the cutting edge anyway, and the board isn't aimed at you, there are plenty of others to choose from. This is what I've been dreaming of.
This I don't understand. I'm 6 foot, average hands for my height, and the XBox/Dreamcast controllers are the most comfortable I've ever held... I can't STAND the Playstation controllers, they wrench my fingers to hit the triggers and the handles are shaped wrong.
Wow, we did that with Quake in high school, only it was during class, and then up here in college we did that with UT last year probably 3 times a week for over a semester. You want to talk about the history of gaming from your little circle of friends? 2+ X-Boxes is nothing compared to a half-dozen or more PCs...
That's really odd, cause for me 2k would boot up and only be using a little less than 64 megs, and I didn't do any crazy optimizations... Now XP sucks down 96 on boot for me, but not 2k.

The main point of the books is the destruction of the ring, and it was made VERY clear that this was the first of 3 movies. How could you possibly expect it to finish in the first one?

Some of us pay $150 cause the Shox are damn comfortable, and they don't even have Jordan's endorsement, which I've never cared about.
