I know that in all of the XBox racing games I've played they force you to watch at least one screen saying that driving feats in the game should not be attempted in real life. There is a similar message at the beginning of the F&F DVD.

In the Florida elections thousands of people, mostly black Democrats, were delisted for being felons. The vast majority of these felonies did not take place and were dated up to a milennium in the future. Further, the list was comprised of people who had moved from Texas to Florida. The Floridan Democrats barred from voting were not actually felons, they were locked out as a favor from one Bush to the other.

Defending yourself against baseless lawsuits is very expensive and time-consuming. Those who were not stealing sattellite TV signals had their lives greatly disturbed. DirecTV suing a large group of people with no basis other than posession of a device that could possibly be used to steal signals is nothing but abuse of the legal system and I hope they get taken to task for such tactics.

The action was cool... but I'm sorry, Dark City was incredibly boring and I found it LESS philosphical than The Matrix. So... we have these aliens who need to figure out our essence in order to avoid extinction, so they keep rearranging the city and everyone in it in an attempt to do this. Yay? Some guy figures out how it works and can rearrange the city himself, so he fights the aliens, wins, and rearranges the city into a nice one based on his false memories. This doesn't strike me as very deep, no different than if in the Matrix Neo decided to just live in the matrix and make everything happy and warm. The Matrix at least spends more time on the question of what the right course of action is, and Keanu Reaves is nowhere NEAR as annoying as that doctor guy who has to take a breath every other word.
