That of course was the point of the parent. Someone attempting to calculate all of Pi will have an infinite amount of calculation to do and thus never be done and want the fastest possible to get as much of it done as possible.
Everyone who asks me which portable music player they should get is told the Rio Karma. Most people that ask me then end up getting a Karma instead of an iPod. And it's all because they chose to support Vorbis and Apple didn't.
You know, when people ask for advice on what technology to buy you should give them advice based on THEIR needs. If your friends do not need Ogg Vorbis support it should have had no bearing on what you told them to buy. It's all well and good that you bought it because it was the first player to support what YOU wanted, but if one of my car friends told me to buy a car because of some feature they cared about for theirs but wasn't important to me I'd be upset. The same applies here. Don't let advocacy get in the way of giving your friends the proper advice.
Well, guys tend to be visually stimulated. A beautiful girl will make a guy hornier and the oral sex will feel better as a result. Also, stereotypically the beautiful girl will have done it to more guys and thus have more skill at it. The counterpoint to this is that an average girl may work harder at keeping guys than a beautiful one and thus have greater skill. A lot of it just comes down to guys prefering beautiful girls in general. (This post was written with much shame, as I'm a guy)
Yes... but eventually pretty much everything gets migrated, it just doesn't necessarily occur as soon as a new product is available. Whether or not the company migrates is also completely irrelevant to the point that they're still not paying Microsoft anything.
The smaller the transistors are the less power they take and thus the less heat they generate. A finer die process is EXACTLY what is needed to cram a chip into a notebook.
Actually I have the problem that a lot of the languages I've studied tend to blend together so I didn't know that off the top of my head. Also, I'm not fluent in all of those, mostly because I don't have an opportunity to use them for real. I'm also not the guy you were responding to, I just wanted to make sure you realize that some of us Americans do recognize culture and language outside of our country.
Changing LOTR to strengthen Christian symbolism would be a mistake as Tolkien many times explicitly stated that was not his intention and he did not like allegory in his stories.
No there's not, but being as the website openly invites comments from the public and you have no say in the running of the private website you get no say in who responds to you, so it doesn't matter and you still can't legitimately tell people not to respond to you.

It's not even just a matter of how much they like to eat, some people have bodies that literally won't put on fat no matter what. I have a friend who lives on Hot Pockets and cereal with lots of chocolate syrup and he's 6'1 120lbs. My workout buddy loses his abs if he doesn't eat 3000 calories per day at least, and the loss occurs over the course of a week, his body just processes everything that fast. Me, on the other hand, I run like a demon every day and play handball and I'm still 5'11 200lbs. So unless the skinny people eat perfectly and excercise constantly, don't listen to them.
Not really. If I put in a Audio CD, I might want to listen to it, rip it, or just browse the "extra features" that come these days on "Enhanced Audio CD's" How does the computer know what I want to do?
That's why you make it keep giving you the selection dialogue box instead of doing something with those discs by default.
You give a bad example. The efficiency he's talking about isn't fuel efficiency but rather efficiency at using it's quoted power. To go back to your car example, this is like saying that because the Honda S2000 revs to 9000RPM it's faster than the Corvette Z06 which only revs to 7000RPM. An end user who doesn't care about rev "efficiency" won't care that the Corvette gets more done per rev, but WILL care that it's faster as a result. This applies to the processor situation as people may not care if the P4 is efficient... but they WILL notice it's not as fast as the GHz ratins say it "should" be from their experiences with other CPUs.

Frontier labs Nex2 is the closest you'll find, I think. Sorry, migraining, no link.

Well... I never learned French but I've gone at Spanish, Latin, Italian, and German, so I think I'm ahead of the game ;)

Which is of course why ads always say "Own it today on DVD and video!"
The M5 is based on the previous 5 platform and doesn't have iDrive...
What's this "bad?" Do you mean "ungood?" ;)
That would make sense, yes.
RPI's president is the highest paid university president while all us students and a LOT of the faculty is miserable with the way the school is run...

So you're saying that anyone who isn't on Atkins is eating so much simple sugar they're going to get diabetes? Good call.
Hell, I come from a dairy farming family and I'm typing this on a T40 at RPI...

It's also "Texas" pronounced with a Spanish accent which I find much more likely to be the origin of this name.
Some of us actually DO know all the numbers we call, by heart, cold. However, I STILL don't like unconventional numeric pad layouts.
That's really fascism, not socialism.
Turns out that cute girl's A|X t-shirt didn't mean AIX. Who would've thought?!
That catches me every time I see one of those shirts too...
