Maybe you should read the article. The Microwave is about making the MREs. You will still use the water activated chemical heater in the field. Try reading the article, it helps you sound less like an idiot.:)
But they currently have Chili and Macaroni (MENU 10), so they aren't having the soggy problem with that Macaroni. How is Mac and Cheese that much different?
They look for trends of certain users constantly bidding for other users auctions. You would need to keep creating users to do this successfully without getting detected.
This is usually caused by the shallow waters and more dynamic currents over the floor of the water in the shallows. This causes the sediment to be brought to the surface and reflects the light differently than the clearer water in the deeper locations. Occationally you can see this effect in a smaller scale where the water goes from shallow to extremely shallow near the shore. This effect is just a large version of that effect. The is also possibly a contributing factor of actually seeing the bottom in the shallows also.
Hopefully nowhere. My world is letterboxed.:) If it was just 2048 x 1536, then we would be living on a football shaped earth with the tips at the poles.
It would only be the same if someone said that removing part X would eliminate the rollover. Ford then replies, part X is integral to the frame. Then they would HAVE to see the plans to verify this claim. MS said that removing IE from windows is NOT POSSIBLE. They want to verify this claim.
I guess the problem I have is not using a phone line. The Tivo is useless without one. I only have a cellphone as my phone. I goto Gist and get my latest TV calendar, using the shows I entered as favorites. Every week, I just modify my VCR programming if needed. Works for me with the $60 VCR. I guess if you waste money on cable or satelite it would make sense to want to get everything out of it with a better time shifter. With broadcast TV, I can keep up.
One thing I haven't seen asked is how does this affect DivX? That is MPEG4, right? Just a freely developed version... Why doesn't everyone just switch to DivX?
22 hours of class doesn't mean 22 hours in the class room and labs. It means 22 credit hours of classes. My typical weekly schedule was 22 hours in class, 12 hours in lab, many hours of homework, 20 hours of work at a job to help pay for school. That means about 60-80 hours a week of work and academics. Add in clubs and sports and it becomes a real schedule.
If you are spending so much of your time and money in the process, I think it is an important question.
I started out as an Electrical Engineering major. Around my Junior year, I started loosing the drive and was getting burnt out. I took a year off for a CO-OP where I did both EE and CS work. It gave me some time to decompress from my 20-22 hour academic schedule and I decided that I wanted to write software for a living. I finished up my EE degree, while taking CS classes where I could fit them and interviewed with CS Consulting firms. My take on engineering is that it is problem solving with fixed set of tools. This is true with mechanical, chemical, structural, electrical, and software engineering. By getting a EE degree, I have a wide breadth of knowledge than a CS major, but I quickly surpassed many CS majors in computer and programming knowledge, just by applying myself at work.
It worked great for me and I really enjoy what I'm doing now.
Seems like it would be easier to program the interface to the many Apple II emulators out there. Man, Apple II assembly seems so long ago. I guess it actually was so long ago...
I'm getting a lovely 2 frames per second on my Pentium III 500 with half a gig of RAM using Demo of 0.61 on Windows 2K. Hopefully that has improved.

It exists. It is great. A battery powered CD burner to take with your laptop. It acts as a stand alone MP3 player if you want. USB 4X write. You just need 60 Mb free on the computer to "rip it onto itself".

MREs provide a good number of calories (something like 5-6k per package)
Everything I have read about then suggests 1200-1400 calories per "meal". I think this includes the drink powder (colored sugar) and the desert.
Bascially it is like this:
Temp - Shelf Life (months)
120 - 1
110 - 5
100 - 18
90 - 30
80 - 48
70 - 66
60 - 84
= 50 - 96

Just hit the visible earth FTP. I'm pulling down the 400 Mb file right now. :)

Do apple.slashdot.org users not get a poll? That is the only reason to come to /.
It is the beginning of a trend. Look for these fine subdomains, coming to a slashdot near you:
r unslinux.slashdot.orgl ashdot.org
mssux.slashdot.org
katzrevues.slashdot.org
it
stuffthatactuallymatters.s
antimpaa.slashdot.org
and
cowboyneal.slashdot.org
Except, if you aren't really a student, then it isn't actually a legit copy... :)

I messed up another link. :(
It is called a Hang Glider.
Just a little note. It is called a , not a handglider. Your hands just grip the bar, but you "hang" under the glider.
Whoops, put a relative link there. Here is the correct link

I'm pretty sure that was supposted to be 100 minutes per month.

I just finished burning yet another CD with it.
