I keep my music organized in seperate folders, like so:
Artist\(Year) Album\Artist - Album - Tracknumber - Title
Orginizing it at first took a while, especially with bad tag info and weird filenames, but fb2k and it's masstagging and freedb lookup took care of that. Now, whenever I get a new CD, I've got CDex set up to automatically rip to the proper folder, so it's pretty easy to keep it organized.
Of course, can't really expect an iD/Valve collaboration any time.. ever. -- Wasn't HL1 based on the Q2 engine? Or am I just pulling that out of my ass because I haven't have caffiene yet.
Seriously... just use Autopatcher 2000. Same functionality as a "Update rollup", but with some tweaks and such. It also means bringing Windows 2000 almost completely up-to-date (If you have SP4 slipstreamed.. if not, you can download the network install and put it on the autopatcher 2k CD in the Service Pack dir) before letting it touch the 'net. (I say almost - the only update I needed was for IE6, which I only use for Windows Update).
...it is possible, however rare, for a Zip disk to physically damage the drive by ripping the heads off (The heads snagged on a torn piece of the disk material itself). It's not related to the COD, but it can happen.
1. Some form of firewall and AV
2. WinAmp
3. Serenade
4. Juno. (It sucks, but I don't have a choice.)
5. FireFox
6. Gaim
7. mIRC
8. WinRAR
9. Metapad
10. OpenOffice.org
I haven't really reformatted recently, after the last one I made a ghost image with all my base apps on it.
Can't say I'm familiar with that month. How long away is it, again?

I've yet to find someone with a use for it.

Can't you make norton update without user interaction? I dunno, I haven't used norton in a while- I use avast, which does autoupdate definitions.

MP3, maybe. But I doubt it, as long as someone has LAME somewhere, there will be non-DRMed MP3s floating around on the net.
