I'm curious if the same exact pool of data scientists and analysis will admit that Googe's attempts at using machine learning for flagging comments and removing youtube videos is just as flawed.
Exactly this. Richard Spencer is a white nationalist, not a white supremacist. I'm sure he giggles internally every time he gets called a supremacist because he has another example of how he is unfairly characterized. Now I will note that white nationalism is a dumb idea. Race as a construct to determine citizenship is moronic. People don't need to adopt a culture based on the color of their skin. In fact many don't and adopt whatever culture they agree with most. So why use ancestry to determine who you might get along with better. It's dumb, but it's not supremacist.
Does this metric of body count actually take into account things that happened in this Century or are we still just talking about things that happened before I was even born?
While the Vault 7 release was bad, it was the CIA who did that. You can't even get departments within the same company to talk to each other so what makes you think different departments of the Government are any better. I doubt the CIA told the NSA and CERT that it was holding onto these exploits. Also, CERT does good work.
Most likely for you to remember your cat dying, it had to be traumatic. Since then you probably processed it and put it in perspective and moved on. Now you remember it as just another event but at the time it probably wasn't just another event; it was probably a major event.
This is true. It can be seen in another way Youtube algorithms work which is to flag content as inappropriate. Many times content is flagged within hours of being uploaded only to be challenged by the content creator and then a person removed the flag and say "oops, the algorithm made a mistake". The problem is, they never correct the algorithm and it just keeps on flagging stuff incorrectly in perpetuity.
I watch all my kid's shows. As a result, I tend to pick interesting ones with story lines and morals instead of bright colors and songs. I like Blue's Clues, Tumbleleaf, Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood, (and for an acid trip) Sarah and duck.
They don't need to pay people. They can allow users to vote up the videos and then allow other users to meta-moderate the votes. In exchange, they can hand out points which will eventually (maybe) be worth something. Google does this now with Google Contribute.
This is why I watch all of the shows my kids watches on Netflix or Amazon. That way I know what they are showing him and what I may have to explain later. However, Netflix and Amazon have a pretty high bar on quality for content to get on there. I don't have too many problems.
Children tend to have a hard time distinguishing fantasy from reality. Usually they mistake unreal things for real but occasionally they mistake real things for unreal. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/p...
However, that isn't the only problem here. There is also the problem of being exposed to and having to deal with the very idea of violence and physical harm. To you or me, we are probably desensitized to such an idea. People die every day and we know it. A child hasn't processed this kind of reality and the first time they do process it, it will be hard even if they know it is unreal. This is because, they still have to address in their minds that it can happen in reality.
To best implement OpenDNS, remember you either need to put in their IPv6 DNS servers or point your IPv6 entries to their IPv4 servers, or just turn off IPv6 altogether (not recommended). This is because newer operating systems prefer the IPv6 entries first.
Most likely they are using machine learning to develop a classifier to flag content. The problem is they removed the human element of checking the results too early. In addition, they probably didn't direct the classifier enough to enable to to avoid false positives.
Maybe not. Chrome just installs faster than Firefox and requires less permissions to do so. FF just started suspending tabs and the speed has improved vastly.
Why don't you install Chrome and type it in the address bar to find out?
Since I'm not a jerk, I'll paste that result here:
used in brackets after a copied or quoted word that appears odd or erroneous to show that the word is quoted exactly as it stands in the original, as in a story must hold a child's interest and “enrich his [ sic ] life.”.
Honestly, who cares? Why not let the market of ideas sort itself out? After all, its the merit of the policy positions that matter, not just the logistics of who is going to implement them.
Begging the question - Assuming those sources are negative prior to presenting any evidence
Ad Hominem - Attacking people instead of arguments
Red Herring - No relation to the post being replied to
Fallacy of association - Assuming one who uses those sources is ill informed
This is just a sampling of the fallacies and faulty logic in your post. Now go to your room and don't come out until you have thought about what you have done, young man.
A typical email marketing campaign might have an open rate of 5% and a closure rate of 10% (of those 5% who opened the email). So in all, half a person bought your product out of every 100 people you marketed to. I'd expect rates are similar or worse in facebook ads. Honestly, only targeted ads get better open and conversion rates. So did it affect the election? Yes. Did it determine the outcome of the election? I doubt it. Pretty much all the flyover states voted from Trump overwhelmingly and pretty much all the metro pockets voted for Clinton.
The real story of the election is that the only reason Clinton had a chance at all is because California is a winner take all state.
I have a better solution. All transactions should be based on a challenge/response using encryption. No single transaction should expose the actual account number. The data that is sent in response should only work for a single transaction.
Note that some credit card issuers use this technology already but it requires an application running on your computer or phone.
That's not the point. The point is the reason cancer medication is said to cost a lot is because of research and development. However in this case, public funds paid for the R&D and as such, the resultant product should no be patented; but it will be anyways.

Plenty of people born in the U.S. don't meet these standards. Strange that they can't be deported.
Have you read the Constitution?
What makes you think that Russian Psyops wouldn't play devil's advocate on both sides of an issue to cause chaos within the US political climate?

I actually just stay on facebook and twitter to try and be a voice of reason in the otherwise very large echo chamber they have created.

ackshually there are a host of negative effects of light pollution.
DST is not for the farmers. Can we stop that myth already?

Have you seen Mr. Robot where the banks control the blockchains?
