This is a horrible comparison. GPL'd code is already free in the first place. They are not only stealing code, but they are selling it as well. I imagine people wouldn't have anything bad to say about the RIAA/MPAA is they were suing people that downloaded and sold the music for their own profit. I'd bet they would encourage the lawsuit.
"In the absence of explicit permission to reproduce the posts in this way, the onus is on Google to demonstrate that implicit permission has been given. If it can't, it's breaking the law."
Oh... so is our society back to guilty until proven innocent? While we're at it, let's go ahead and chop of hands and fingers and pluck out people's eyes. After all, it's only fair.
I'm assuming you haven't seen the Sony Ericsson P900. That's an amazing phone, the closest I've seen to a PDA. I'd love to have it, but I think it's about 800 USD.
and, actually... The debian package name is often different than the name of the actual program.
So you would have to do...
apt-cache search gaim
to find out the actual package name that you need to install. My point is not valid in this case sense the package name for gaim is actually gaim, but, for example, if you want to install the cli irc client irssi, the package name is actually irssi-text.
so...
Or... you could install them both by using apt.

Uh... yea. And he has Macs only, so multiply your "$799" estimation for a new computer by 72 and that should do.

errr... It DOES support ogg.
yea... and if he works 3 times as hard he will get done in 4 months!
*sighs* people should be able to type.
The combination of suprnova.org and bittorrent work well for me, as well as the combination of ircspy.com and irc.
DC++ is also nice.

That'd be...
apt-get install gaim
Isn't Microsoft forced not to include Office and some of their other applications because of the antitrust lawsuits years ago?
I believe so. It's a little bit unfair to say Windows doesn't come with anything preinstalled when compared to linux.
yea... I bought all of my mp3's, all 3000+ of them. uh huh. I sure did.
