    Yes, lasers don't "cut" as you traditionally use the word, a more precise term would be vaporize.

    When i worked at a laser company the tech would often get burned by the CO2 lasers (because the beam is invisible) and the skin that had burned had literally turned to ash.

    this statement seems silly, equally so does this one:

    i don't see how either statement makes much sense, although war in general makes little sense to me as well.

    I see what you did there.. but what you are really describing is a system of control, to which you are a part. Do you naively think that because you can own a gun and car that you are truly free to do so?

    The only thing that is keeping all of us out of jail right now is because the police cannot possibly know everything, because there is certainly a law for everything.

    If it gets to the point where it can be known what you are thinking, it is all over.

    You will have no way to rebel or resist those who want to control you. (think about why that will be, for a moment. hint, your secrets are what keep you free).

    So scoff all you want, like you said, ignorance is bliss.

    LOL, good point, it makes me wonder if the people who think up these "schemes" know what they are doing or if they are just trying to cash in on the terror felt by outdated business models.

    Every "anti-piracy' technique i have seen, hurts the legitimate "consumers" (i hate that word) but does nothing to deter those who would "pirate", in fact, the pirated versions are way less cumbersome. (and now will be slightly cheaper to produce)

    This seems to take this idiotic idea one step further and no closer to truly securing "IP".

    I think at some point our never ending quest for understanding of the way the world works will end up trapping us into a life of never ending servitude from birth, i don't want to be a part of that world.

    It's people who have the skills outsourcing their talents to the highest bidder (like botnet controllers who sell control time).. once you're "in" with these groups it is quite hard to get "out" unless you consider death early retirement.

    Like anything it starts small (e.g. the drug trade) you have someone do small IT stuff for you, if they are up to snuff you try to get them to take on larger projects until they are deep enough into the organization that they are just as liable for the deeds or too valuable to let go...

    Yes and everyone is free to have their own website, but when you continually advertise the desire for people to "check out" your website it would be good to be open to some constructive criticism, then maybe you wouldn't have to ask people to come, they would want to because of it's content.

    Um, are you sure about that? anyone can vote in a democratic primary but only registered republicans can vote in republican primaries.. are you really suggesting that loyal democrats went through the process of re-registering under a different party, weeks ahead of time so they would be able to vote, just to make McCain your presidential candidate?

    If so i would say they have a LOT of time and are stupid as there were other candidates that would have been much better suited to make into the candidate who would ultimately fail. but i could definitely see it as something Rush and co would use to rile you all up against the dems yet again during an election cycle.

    on the other hand, republicans would just need to go to the democratic primary and vote. simple enough to be underhanded, but surprisingly so if they did, given the moral high ground republicans often spout.

    you might seriously want to do something about the layout and construction of your site, the atrocious .gif backgrounds, the scrolling marquee dividers, the horrible scaled graphics (640x480 stretched to 1024x1028 does not look good, it looks pixelated), etc.

    I didn't even bother to read the content, it's probably not fair, but when the website screams "i don't care enough to showcase my efforts in a professional manner" why would i think any better about the information you are trying to put across?

    Who the hell's cousing/nephew/son is Seth?

    Why does this most mediocre of cartoon comedy flourish, with spin off after spin off when there are WAY better shows that could be given airtime (to see some watch adult swim on the cartoon network).

    I just don't get it.. Family is ok, just ok, not even close to South park or futurama but it seems to be promoted and extended forever?

    Family guy is like the middle manager who becomes CEO while the smart kid languishes in employee hell.

    the opteron's overclocked nice as well.. I currently run a 1.8 opteron 939 pin at 2.4ghz with just a change of some bios settings, no overclocking of "FSB" or RAM.

    since when did it become accepted that a news outlet would do anything other than try to provide unbiased facts about subjects AKA news?!!?

    I know that it has happened, and TV is the last place to find unbiased information (local or worldwide in the US) but shouldn't we be surprised? should we be OUTRAGED?!
