If the new iMac is anything like the new Cinema Displays, it will be fine. The new displays are much more stable than they appear to be from just looking at them. They appear to be unstable particularly with respect to side to side movement, but on the contrary, they are remarkably stable.
That's what I really don't understand from the newspaper article. I wouldn't spend $20,000 to fix a five year old Honda when I could buy a brand new one for $15k...

It is certainly not a trivial task to produce an online journal. It is even more complicated when the materials are being deposited from a variety of sources. PubMed Central does quite an impressive job of organizing current data submissions. They have even developed a free-access archiving DTD that is pretty comprehensive.
The problem I see is that journals that are unwilling to comply with the spirit of the law will most likely dump their data in an unusable format. This could overwhelm the current system in place.
I do not know what the specifications will be for depositing information will be, but I do sincerely hope that Congress does not leave it open to interpretation...
Why should I install an anti-virus program on my Mac? There are no viruses for it in the wild these days.
Remember, even though *you* might not be susecptible to a virus, you can still pass one along. I have to keep a virus checker installed on my Mac at home because of infected Word files my wife brings home from school.

My New Beetle TDI gets 45 mpg on the highway. It's an automatic. (Wifey wouldn't negotiate on that.) Manual transmission models normally peg over 50 mpg on the highway.
