    our beloved hackers will do, is stopping(cracking) the OS, from ever contacting MS.

    With a nice, big warning from them.

    In a way, I do feel sorry for MS, as powerful they are, the "guerillas" aren't chump/chumpettes either.

    Won't they get 100% "genuine" participation?

    As for the "in the dark" "pirates", I'd wager the number is quite small, errm why bother?

    also, the general view that p2p contribute to adware/trojans. p2p affects(effects?)it, but I'd raher pin the blame on the user.

    What I'm saying though, p2p is first derided, now its being actively fought.

    and one day people will see the truth.

    That it is another method of distribution, a much more advanced one.

    On days like these, I cant help to love capitalism.

    Given enough 'return on investments'; that is a smooth talking entreprenuer, it will be funded.

    a viable project would be golf lessons. I'm sure it wil be popular with the suit types. Cost have never really been an issue.

    The nurse thing works well too. Of course, "that kind" of nurse. :)

    India has the neccesary "intellectual" labour and which it doesn't, the US can easily transfer the skills; and technology .

    The cost definitely can be lower.With good discussions, I'm sure the Indian government can be easily persuaded to chip in.

    Make that with any discussions,which country does not want the glamour of "space pioneers".

    My definition is where everyone can participate. A VOTE is a CHOICE, and I do believe open source provides just that, CHOICE.

    As for the rest of your comments, what in the world are you talking about.

    I advocate the value of open source, where did I say or imply I support IP being stolen.

    and the reaon for this, is that they are no corpoarate juggernaut, yet.

    Looking at the country "official" telecom provider, the services sucks, costly and progress&competition is hindered by "policies".

    Yes, open source and "free" software is different.

    However, "free" softwares are products of the open source philosophy.

    When i refer to the term "free"; its not so much free in sense of monetary terms.

    Open source/linux adoption is not monetarily free. Deployment, training, policy creation and red tape(this is governments) will incur cost, large cost.

    Rather, I'm speaking of the "free"dom to tinker, change and create.

    Democratizing knowledge so that anyone/everyone can benefit.

    I expect this trend wil continue to emerge.
    "Poorer" countries will be the main adopter of Open Source. It will be cheaper; and it will encourage creativity and growth of IT.

    product options and the somewhat contradictory message in Dell's policy, this may not seem to be a significant step.

    Dell however has the image of providing good support(at least in my neck of the woods)

    Seeing that Dell can ofer and support for Linux;I'm presuming they will, this can show to the general public that (Dell considers) Linux is/as a viable option.
