'The 486 ran at 66 mHz and had the capability to create 3D texture maps. 16-bit consoles, which ran at 7 mHz, could not replicate a game as impressive-looking, innovative and as huge as Doom.'

i don't know how the 'know your roots' t-shirt is ironic. i mean, it's not like everybody is 40 years old and still playing pong. 'your' would imply that the roots he is 'knowing' are relative to his own life, not that of some intelevision spaz touting the depth of burger time gameplay.
nobody would ever willingly buy and refurbish a 64 mustang or some old model t!!! that would be insanity!!!!! not everything over two years old is an '81 datsun, but what do i know, i was born in 83. might as well just get it over with and toss myself into the used bin.
you do have a point, though. why bother with trying to get the most miles out of a proven technology when you've got an endless budget and all the means in the universe to develop new things constantly?
neil who? i didn't mean to upset your sensibilities, lover, perhaps a lesson in 'banter' would be in line to help you understand the subtlety of cheesy, friendly repartee.
no thanks. everything means everything to everybody. the last thing i want to do is delve into some poor bastard's attempt at validating his interests in the face of adversity.
what ISN'T sequential art? reading a book backwards only works in china, and so far as i know the only person who has ever succeeded in reversing time to achieve anything beneficial is superman, and lately i'm not even too sure if that ever happened.
1. A usually humorous narrative sequence of cartoon panels: taped a comic strip to her office door.
2. A series or serialization of such narrative sequences, usually featuring a regular cast of characters: a comic strip that has been syndicated for over 40 years.
a pro-g writer is sitting on an inflatable doughnut, because these 'chance of happening' stats were pulled straight out of his ass.
more books.

that's a little too ironic.
it'd be the equivalent of somebody from ireland wearing a 'kiss me, i'm a neanderthal' shirt.
to bug you.

it wouldn't have anything to do with the news, or anything.

somebody should start an online petition about this, it should be just as useful and informational.
