    How long does it take you to do your taxes? How long does it take someone like warren buffet it to do his? And that's only individual taxpayers, now add in corporations, partnerships, trusts, non profits...

    No the reason they are doing that, is the same reason they are doing that in every industry. Lowering costs is good for profits, its a simple as that.

    Because only men are dumb enough to put up with the working conditions expected of most programing jobs. Perhaps if the hours and working condition(management expectations) were better they might be more interested.

    So, the statement that no one has been able to find evidence of institutionalized sexism, proves that there is institutionalized sexism. That sounds a lot like "There is no evidence God exists, therefore that proves God exists."

    Actually valuing soft skills over hard skills will prepare them perfectly for the job environment in the western business culture. Everything coming out of HR at my company is stating this. Soft skills are far more valuable than hard skills when it comes to job progression. If you're good bs'er you'll move up the corporate ladder far faster than the next guy regardless of your comparative hard skill level.

    And that's it exactly. The stingray is basically a wireless phone tap without the pesky need to go through the phone company to do it and therefore no need to goto a judge for a warrant or even an NSL letter.

    Right now they can tap anyone they want whenever they want with no oversight whatsoever. They don't want this brought before a court as this would reveal their (probably illegal) parallel construction schemes. So it shouldn't be a surprise they'd rather throughout a case than have it brought up for review.

    For one thing most manufacturers outsource rebate promotions to a 3rd party. These 3rd parties don't want to make rebates easier for you to claim as that means less profit for them.

    Why would you need a certificate? Just use a drivers license. I don't see them issuing $75 annual bartender licenses so proof of age is just BS. It's just a hoop to make the dancers lives that much harder for doing a job someone considers a sin.

    This is the big problem here. ISP's want to treat this traffic as though it was transit traffic when it's not. As far as level 3 goes these networks are the destination as it's their customers requesting the traffic. It's like a doorman charging the pizza delivery guy for the privilege of entering the building to delver a pizza.
