In most countries the legality of allofmp3 is questionable but most likely just as illegal as downloading the files off a p2p app. The only difference is with allofmp3 a 3rd party is profiting from selling you illegal 'goods'.

Silver on the other hand is best for studio use as it is much tougher and and tarnishes which isn't as much as a problem in the studio.

Quite a lot of time is spent grinding for level 60 armour, epic purple armour which if the level cap is increased will be deemed useless. Furthermore, all the instances are designed around this level 60 cap, if they wanted to raise the cap they would have done it much earlier.

Every company patents this crap, to not patent this crap would be leaving yourself with no defences. Although I don't think they would, I honestly hope that Creative uses this chance to slow the iPod down and bring both players to equal market shares, which is better for the consumer. i.e me!

Personally I still use dvorak whenever I can though, it's just so much more comfy and easy to type.

Unless they decide to re-record the entire album, it's highly doubtful they'll be able to get better quality that's on the 16bit 44Hz track, albums would have to specially be remade for it, and CD drives are sticking round for a very long time.

A more appropriate comment would be that audio codecs are ever evolving and that by buying a CD you are future proofing and retaining the ability to encode to whatever non existant codec you desire.

How about putting the ipods on ebay and then getting some PHYSICAL music on a cd, which will last you at least for the next decade or so.

Personally I can't see why anyone would collect music in iTunes DRM, it has no real value, at least if you have a CD you can re-sell it and use it with whatever device you want. I don't know anyone who buys downloadable music online. I was just wondering if I could hear some pro arguaments about downloadable music against actually having the CD. (I know you don't technically own the music, but it's still there in your hands and I feel that means something.)

ABR is average bitrate, that means the bitrate changes dynamically throughout the song depending on which parts need it most. For this a psychoacoustic model is made which effectively acts like the human ear.

Examples of places where you can reduce quality are after loud sounds followed by relatively quiet sound, for example Wild Thing.

It's the start of the Summer Holidays, and by the time you get back to School you'll be able to use qwerty without mucking up your dvorak knoledge. Just don't try to switch to Qwerty when you have trouble typing, it just makes it harder.

  25. Re:Dvorak is very good on Advocating Dvorak · · Score: 2, Insightful

I changed from Qwerty about a year to 2 years ago. Not sure exactly when. It's not about typing faster, it's about typing easier.

Might I recommend not changing the keycaps, it makes them uneven on most keyboards. The best bet is to get a sticky label and put the layout on the bottom edge of your monitor and learn not to look at the keys when you are typing.

If you use windows there is a registry which changesl your keys to dvorak at the driver level which means pretty much all games use the new layout (including Half-Life).
