I agree entirely, the ending was awful. I was all ready for a final fight with Alma or with the guy she was controlling and instead got a cut scene with Alma *erm* taking avantage of me. Which, if you're keeping score, means that in the first one you were her son pulled from her prematurely going after your brother and in the second you were kinda competeing with the other dude to be her new baby daddy. I wonder if in the third you'll play the child created from 2 who goes back in time and become his own grandfather.

I hope in 3 they go back to the style of having everything in close quarters where it's scary/creepy and not open areas like in COD/Halo/GoW/etc

Hell maybe even you are one of them and are just posting along with ur friends to discredit my post :). Or maybe I'm just insane. Either way the fact remain that the article and it's discussion page are gone and soon so will the discussion page's discussion page for what most obviously seems someone's ire at the fact that, "some one would dare make fun of this man".

Regardless of any of this it is important to note the spurious actions of the moderators at Wikipedia and their blatant disregard of the people who view the site. All information is precious, even if it doesn't register on some statistical analysis of google or whatever random thing they use to prove their points.

I actually followed this article's delete fiasco and I can tell you that there were many more votes for keeping than on the page the parent listed. Originally on the discussion page and then on the discussion's discussion page a number of us voiced "keep" votes that seem to be missing on the linked article. Moreover (and yes I'm sure some wikites w/ mod points will mod me to hell of this, though at "bad" how much worse can I go right ;D), admin on this issue would routinely edit discussion pages and discussion's discussion pages to remove keep votes. I even had my opinion stuck down b/c I was a new user and hadn't done much.

Frankly I believe some mod/modette got a stick full of self-riteous idignation over the supposed "taking advantage/making fun of issue" up their arse about this and decided the page would be deleted no matter what. And that is what people are taking issue with in this thread: mods filtering based on their own opinions and oft using self-approved "rules" to defend their biases.

Harddrive space aside, can anyone give me a good reason not to archive any and all kinds of knowledge? Pretending something doesn't exist by removing it from wp doesn't in any way diminish any offensive qualities the subject has and including the same thing in wp (in an unbiased "this is what this is about/says/does/believes and wether that is correct or not is not for us to say") in no way supports or condones it. If that were true there shouldn't be articles on the Holocaust, The Trail of Tears, etc.

Last I checked the Chinese government never agreed to any list of unalienable human rights. Did the UN or any other international body ever decree that the right to post blogs bitching about your government is a fundamental right belonging to all people?

So why then is US company aided censorship a violation of human rights? I can see if the US companies help to compile lists of people to imprison or kill based on web usage (or any other widely regarded human rights violation).... but that doesn't seem the case FTFA.

I mean, if US based Movie_Company_0 makes a movie and supplies it internationally but does not provide copies to China b/c their government says "No", is that a violation of human rights? What about all of the movies made by forign Movie_Company_1 that cannot come into the US b/c the US says no?

That is, I know many people who carry their ipods on them all the time now ready to share their favorite music at a moments notice (provided they can find some speakers). I don't however, know many people who carry a ton of cd's with them wherever they go and a cd player ready to play for others if they get a chance. Also, some bars/djs are now starting to let people come up with their ipods and play a song or two off of them.

So what this comes down to is that allowing people to make digital copies of songs allows more portability and therefore a greater chance of music being spread to new listeners...

Step 1:Remove DRM, make digital copies of music
