The truly sad thing is, for a company with 40-some severs to back up, the Backup Exec is the best, or at least the one I liked best.
The entire backup market it shit, just pure, unadulterated and way overpriced shit, but that doesn't make a particular product being shit excusable. Somebody who wrote a good backup product and sold it for slightly less than Backup Exec (the cheapest one, still crazy expensive) could make a killing.
