I had an internal avermedia card (which worked okay under linux) but it was an utter whore under windows. Caused alot of instability and the software was shit.
Moral of the story: never buy Avermedia.

There is plenty of market for fast connections, but there are mainly between 512Kbit and 3Mbit connections available (the faster ones being rarer) and whats more this shitty slow connection costs more than one of 4 or 5 times the speed over in America.

If microsoft do manage to get standard complience into this new IE browser, then at least the rest of the internet that was still catering to shity IE 5.5 type design will be practically forced away.
It might be good news for people who don't even USE IE.

This is great news for developers of games such as Resident Evil!
They don't have to wait till the rendering guys perfect thier art to get the desired effect in the models.
The fact they still have to be computer coreographed and lip-synced and put into poses etc.
In fact you only get a shape from a body scan don't you? Maybe the raster graphics as well.

WMP has a trashy interface, its functionality sucks and it hogs resources and takes up space on my HDD that could be used on something usefull.
I also HATE the video and audio previews in windows explorer, but thats almost a different arguent.
If M$ remove media player it's an improvement and I'll be using mplayer classic or something decent thankyou very much.
If you looked after the cd's anywhere as near as you clearly did that tape, and they wernt cheap unbranded crap CD's then I expect they would well outlive the crusty old teck.
Try abusing the origionals in the way you clearly do the cd's and the data won't last a second.
I'd really like a feature like that actually.
I like random because sometimes there isnt time to listen all the way through, and random allows me not to only hear the first 3 tracks of a CD over and over due to lack of time.
I say that your brain damaged if you always listen from the begining and never get the time to hear the last tracks, its just stupid.

It looks fairly realistic, someone should provide a lossless version (such as PNG) for a good idea of the realism.
