    Perhaps. But the folks who define science as witch-craft, speak in tongues and handle snakes (Mike Huckabee), think that if you're a good boy you get your own planet when you die (Mitt Romney), these people run things now.

    The Senate will fall to these fools in time, and than it's all over.

    This is not surprising. With a mandate to repeal all of the worker's rights that where hard-won during the early 1900's, and legislating the idea that science is witch-craft, this is not unexpected.

    Did you "read" the article? No, of course not.

    They made false accusations of serious criminal activity. Is that sort of thing protected by the First Amendment? I'm not a lawyer.

    Please get off your soap-box and live in reality. These children's little prank could have had (and possibly still can have) serious life-changing consequences for their falsely accused teachers.

    Read this part to understand why it is still relevent (there are, after all, still cases pending):

    So, my head is spinning, because what I'm thinking is: does this demonstrate that SCO knew there was no basis for their copyright infringement claims against IBM, Novell, AutoZone, and the world, at least by 2004? We'd have to do discovery on the matter to know for sure, but if they deliberately buried evidence, I would imagine it could impact damages due to SCO's victims, not just from SCO but conceivably from SCO's lawyers as well, should it be established that the litigation was frivolous and SCO knew it way back in 2004. I'm sure SCO's lawyers will have a long song and dance about it to deny it all, but it's certainly a huge red flag to me.

    This is my biggest complaint with python (I have others, I'll admit I have little love for python). This is not the way to develop a language.

    The problem with endless back-porting is that it stagnates any âoerevolutionaryâ development of the language. There are certain âoemilestonesâ where it makes sense to completely walk away from the old ways of doing something and move on. At a certain point, back-porting makes everything âoehalf-bakedâ.

    Rather than raking Telstra over the coals for complying (albeit late) , maybe the more constructive thing would be to use it as an illustration to other companies as to how harmless it was to Telstra to comply - it did not hurt them competitively at all.

    By giving Telstra POSITIVE FEEDBACK for complying, perhaps it will ENCOURAGE others to comply as well?
