    So because Wikileaks asked the Pentagon for help in disclosing classified documents, and the Pentagon declined, this *absolves* Wikileaks of any responsibility for the outcome of the publication of these documents? No, that's not realistic. That's stupid.

    Wikileaks is high on their idology, huffing and puffing about moral high ground, well the fact is the addition of many names to the Taliban's Hit List are Wikileaks responsibility. They can't pass it off, they and they alone are responsible for these deaths that will certainly happen.

    My point is that this "leak" has very little real value *in changing the way Americans think about the war*, and those that *DO* care, already knew or assumed this stuff. The only *actual* outcome will be additions to the Taliban Hit List.

    The problem is, thus far these leaks of U.S. "secrets" have revealed *NOTHING* that anyone with eyes and common sense did not already know. Except the names of those sources that are surly now on someone's "death list". In fact, nothing at all other than the possibility of these sources being murdered has come of the "leak" at all.

    But as much as Apple wants to control their product every bit as much - and perhaps more - than Microsoft, the big difference is that Apple gets a lot more things right in terms of desktop usability and security.

    What with? Some super secret super computer that has hashes of every classified document ever produced? Come on...

    The reason is simple and non-mysterious.

    There is SIPERNET and NIPERNET, and they wanting to contaminate NIPERNET with classified material (which this stuff still is). As well, yes, in the US Military, you must possess the correct clearance to view certain classifications. That's just the way it is and isn't a new rule.

    Retail distrobution is only anachronistic if you buy into the idea that living in your mom's basement and playing games 20 hours a day is a life. But for many people, the Game Shop is / was a place to "socialize"

    It helps *him* because otherwise very few people would play his games, as very few people would pay money for them.

    Seriously, if people are not *PAYING* for your games, any distro is good distro. On the other hand, if you sell your games for money, obviously if people are pirating your games, you're not making money on them, and this is not good for you.

    I would hazard to guess that it's pretty much impossible to go to traditional brick & mortar school "full time" (12 credits/semester I believe) and hold down a full time 40 hr job, family or no family.

    I graduated from UW, carrying 12 credits a quarter, and worked full time. I was (and am) married. Yes, it was tough, but it's *not* impossible.

    Well what they should tell you is that you HAVE to have a family to do it because you have to have people who can do everything else in your life for you besides, eat, sleep, work, and study.

    And this is different from a "real" school how? If you go to school full time and also work, yes, you have no time for a life. Been there, done that.
