    Well, it's not entirely true. I think most people consider the definition of reading to mean "looked" at [wiktionary.org] and that it is implicitly a human that is reading your e-mail in this case.

    In this case, I dispute that.

    Common sense tells us that Google does not have 1000's of Indian workers looking at your email. Therefore, "looking at" clearly means scanning with a computer and applying IA to serve ads.

    I think you're stretching to justify for MS bashing. This time, MS is more or less correct.

    Common sense is the key here...

    Sure, there are many things you can practice in the sim.

    But there are many more things that simply require the actual aircraft in actual conditions.

    And once again for the 1,000,000 time, yes, and this isn't the place to get legal advice...

    On the other hand, a "firm request" doesn't quite sound like a legal threat. Anyone can send a "firm request".

    Maybe check it with a REAL lawyer, but not worry too much until the people you've collided with send you a letter with more solid threats?

    Not sure where the 9.8 Million figure came from, the actual story says they took in 1.2 Million in 2011. But after paying out to the camera company and the cost of for cops (who in today's whacky world generally make low 6 figures), the city only cleared 200,000$

    My guess is that the only people that actually "make out" are the camera companies.

    The real question is: Do red light cameras discourage running reds?

    I don't know.

    I've never got a "red light camera" ticket, because I don't run red lights, or speed through school zones.

    Face recognition plus Graph Search means nobody is safe from they prying eyes of facebook.
    If the FBI/CIA/NSA/Scotland Yard tried to set this up, world plus dog would be howling in protest.
