By 2010, the technology will be available. By 2015, you will get a discount if you accept it. By 2025, you will not be allowed to use a computer without it.

    How can a fair justice system exist in such an environment? It is my understanding that medical hearings are heard by a competent jury. Shouldn't this be the same for crimes/matters involving non trivial technology? For the price assessed as damages for one song, I could probably hire someone to rob a music store, rip each cd, and return the disks to the local police station.

    Google has scripts reading your email: no one forces you to use Gmail. Microsoft produces an operating system to which they give US government agencies secret access: there is generally no legal requirement to use Windows, but it's darn hard to avoid it.
