Energy is being emitted from the station. Period. It is transmitting RF to ground stations, it is significantly warmer than the surrounding space and is giving off IR and thermal energy, et cetera.
I KNOW that conversion of energy from one form to another doesn't involve a loss, but the station IS losing energy, and energy IS mass.
Perhaps it will be more understandable if you calculate for the variable which we're talking about:
mass = energy / (c^2)
Energy is being emitted from the ISS, and thus it is losing weight. But, since c^2 is a Really Big Number, the loss in mass is less than we can really detect.
Besides, I'd wager that atmosphere leakage is a far larger source of mass loss.
If Microsoft wins, they have keep millions, and Eolas gets screwed.
If Eolas wins, Microsoft STILL has billions in reserve, has a legit reason to patent everything under the sun, and Eolas has filled its legal coffers for an attack on another browser which can take plug-ins, like Opera or FireFox

Actually, I HAD one of those boxes (Holy crap, I had no idea only 4,000 'em were out there)...
It was a cool thing. Granted, the Video on Demand wasn't that reliable (Every once in a while, it stuttered while the data caught back up, and once the server crashed while watching a movie), but I still loved the damn thing...
The best part was there were online games offered on them which you could play with the remote. There was this mech-warrior game that was rather fun. Oh, and the free archive of Monty Python's Flying Circus, that was brilliant. Were it not for that box, I still probably would not have seen such brilliant sketches as the Dead Parrot, The Funniest Joke in the World, and the Spam sketch...
There are hundreds of thousands of mail servers out there, and many of them are overwhelmed by the sheer volume of spam which they recieve. Some of them to the point of being denied service.
If any of these spammers cry foul... they either lose the lawsuit and are screwed because their cost of operations will skyrocket, or they win AND MAIL SERVER ADMINS WILL SUE THE SPAMMERS.
Either way, the rest of the internet is doing to spammers what spammers have been doing to the rest of the internet.
They explicitly state that they will not overwhelm the servers to the point of service denial, simply force the servers to expend more bandwidth, and in the process, money.
It's certainly distributed, but it's not a Denial of Service.
One of these days, when the Polar Ice caps melt, it'll be us versus them... I have *MY* Webbie killing Anthrax... You all mock me, but I SWEAR I'll have the last laugh!!!
My phone is three years old, doesn't even have a color screen, and the battery STILL outlasts most modern phones despite the fact that that battery only can get about 50% capacity now.
If I don't make a lot of calls, I can get about a week out of a charge.
Well. The main thrust of the argument was the "Iraq"/"Irak" spelling. Same pronunciation, different spelling in different languages. This is the case with Columbia in English and Spanish.
Unfortunately, if you try to filter Politics, nothing happens. CmdrTaco said this was a bug he hopped to fix, but, y'know, it's still here, as evidence of me typing this.
Of course, that brings us back to the conspiracy theory presented by grandparent. Unfortunatly, my tin-foil hat doesn't block out ad-revenue!
The United States Secret Service was formed in 1865. The Schutzstaffel was formed in 1925.
Under your logic, were I to form a terrorist group and name it "John Kerry", he should have to change his name.
Shit. I just named a presidential candidate, Nazi orginization, AND the word 'terrorist' in the same post... oh well, the NSA was slashdotted earlier, I'm sure they won't be coming to get me, I'm safe here in..@#%#$%34j[CARRIER LOST]
If you check netcraft, you'll see that currently Apache is more popular a webserver than IIS. So, shouldn't Apache have more vulnerabilites issues that IIS?
The rest of the world mostly uses GSM; the US uses CDMA.
Vodafone uses W-CDMA.
That said, ALLTEL, Sprint PCS, and Verizon Wireless use CDMA, AT&T Wireless, Cingular, and T-Mobile use GSM, and Nextel uses some proprietary TDMA-based system.
Um.

Man, good times... good times...
Doesn't Affect Maxthon (Formerly MyIE2) either.
Especially since OGG Vorbis can support 255 independant channels...
I dunno. Staring at it on a moonless night is close enough to playing Doom...
Have the throngs of people correcting you that Bill Gates didn't actually say it taught you nothing?
I wonder what you think the provisional ballot is used for, if not people who didn't preregister.
Yes. It DOES have to do with provisional ballots, because provisional ballots are what ALLOW people who register at the poll on election day to vote.
Look at it this way.

To be a DDOS, it must deny service.

Hey, some people watch football, we sit around harassing poor server admins.
Everybody has hobbies!
Oh?
Remind me to avoid the blogs you visit... I'm not into Snuff films...
Oh, you meant... ah. I see now.

I was HIT by Hurricanes Cerberus, Faustus, Infernus AND Juvenal! That's not funny!
Err... Charley, Francis, Ivan and Jeanne.
Okay, it's a little funny.
Well. The main thrust of the argument was the "Iraq"/"Irak" spelling. Same pronunciation, different spelling in different languages. This is the case with Columbia in English and Spanish.
It's spelled "Columbia" in English. Its people, in English, "Columbians".
Similarly, the United States of America in Spanish is "Estados Unidos de América".
In English, "Iraq", in French, "Irak".
Different languages, Different Spellings.
I tried.

IIS's (All versions) entries in Secunia only number 30.
So, gee, yes. I suppose that since Apache is a more popular Webserver, it would have more vulnerabilities. And, indeed, that's the case.
That said, ALLTEL, Sprint PCS, and Verizon Wireless use CDMA, AT&T Wireless, Cingular, and T-Mobile use GSM, and Nextel uses some proprietary TDMA-based system.
Nope.
Vodafone.
They're not in the US. About 6 billion people aren't either.
(Note: I *AM* in the US. I use Sprint. Commence mocking!)
