    To all of those that jumped up and said that only Federal money is withheld no law is passed against stem cell research (their emphasis not mine) I should point out the obvious that...

    frontline research is conducted with mostly Federal money coming out of the NSF, DoE (you name it) and not the private sector (unless subsidized by... Federal Grands).

    Why do I always have to point out the obvious to people that don't know what they are talking about, but have a clear opinion about it, and are so happy to accept whatever the prevailing truth of the day happens to be, as long as it fits their very clear and concise perception of reality?

    Downloading either one will get you noticed by the feds. Don't fool yourself. I know TAC is perfectly legal and all, but don't for a second think that every time you download it doesn't go into your "file" somewhere. Hell, this message is going into my file for sure.

    In fact even thinking about it gets you registered into the... File. Not only talking about it or even going to the extreme of downloading it.

    The Feds take freedom and democracy seriously!

    I have a theory! I believe in the United States the citizens are not the humans but the corporations. The humans are the flora and fauna that grows in the society. The real citizens are the corporations. They vote (with their money), they have rights but no obligations, they have access to legislation, they participate in the society, they sent the flora and fauna to die on endless wars while they (the corporations) profit out of it!

    What political process?     Where is politics in all that? What political process are you talking about? Talking about gay marriage is not politics, it's trash TV. Talking about "Leave no child behind" education in a country with 25% illiteracy is not politics, it's demagogy. Talking about patriotism in a country that forbids, punishes or persecutes patriotic talk (the real kind that requires genuine love and interest for fellow human beings) is a joke to say the least.

    This is all a circus that you get to participate only if you dress up like a clown and you act like one, saying the proper things. Please call it anything you like but don't call it politics. Otherwise you put into the same category the clown and the politician.

    Noham Tsomsky seems right after all. The general shift of the current world system is to grand more and more rights to corporations creating these monstrous entities that are very hard to contain or control.

    If we take it a bit further, then we realize that the western world's democratic process has granted citizenship to these conglomerates of power and influence but has granted them with different rules of responsibilities.
    If I don't pay my electric bill on time they will charge me a fee, if they don't refund my money back for whatever reason, it was a computer error and they will fix it next month... interesting!

    You know there is this thing called BOOLEAN operator that you can use to eliminate search results pretty quickly. If all you type is

    well good luck!

    But if you type

    +"DVD model #" +put_manufacture_company_here -buy

    as an example on top of my head you pretty much calibrate the search to what you want.

    Then again you posted this anonymously so you probably do not care for the solution...

    What would those people think if they learn that in europe for example street cameras are blackened with paint, broken or even burned as a clear civil reaction to the implementation of a police state? And all this is done not from the local anarchy club but many times with the auspicies of local municipalities?
