You're also a tool. You are so consumed with being "cool," oh wait...you're not. Dang it, I forgot that tiny bit. Oh well...so you watched SBTB like all of us in that age group did, and so now you don't admit to it because you think it makes you look cool on /. to say that. Good job tool. Good job realizing that's why you can't get a girlfriend...it's because you suck. Goodnight, sleep tight.

I don't understand how they can expect to stop this technology. Once you give civilization the ability to do something that is very easy and efficient, it's like taking fire away from cavemen. The thing is that both media forms, music and video, are not going about it correctly. They're suffering from being scared that the technology they monopolized for so long is converging into different, more easy to use media forms and they aren't taking this opportunity to make it work for them. I really feel that they need to be spending more money on business model plans for the future that uses the internet and digital technology to their advantage, other than trying (and I stress the word "trying") to sue anyone downloading. Cable and DSL providers want file sharing, whether they say so or not. If you take away the 35% of the internet on Bit Torrent and take the rest of the big files being exchanged on the internet, you won't have much need for such a fast connection for long. Anyhow, I think the MPAA and RIAA need to invest time and money into new business models, other than getting scared and going on the offense so much.

Wow, I didn't realize that on a mac you can completely re-configure the top menu bar!? Man, and I didn't even realize that you can change not only the window shading and maximizing to how you want it to act, but you can even change the shade and close buttons to the opposite sides of the top menu! You know, I forgot that you (on a Mac) can adjust transparency for windows all you want, icon size (to the pixel), as well as run ANY windows program you want!!! (and don't give me that "but there's VirtualPC..." because we all know it SUCKS!)

    You tool.

You don't even realize that while your mother and girlfriend, wait, strike that...just your mother thinks that the mac you have is cute, you forgot to buy a computer that would do whatever YOU want it to. You could have easily made your PC into a Mac and sorry, but Photoshop does run just as well on PC. Get your stupid comments off the boards, no one wants to hear your mindless zombie droning on and on and on about how you love your mac that does EVERYTHING, because it doesn't.

*Note: all of the Art community are not affected by this post, you all do what you need to and Mac is your standard. Rock on. Tools, rock off.

In conclusion, don't whine about people using software to fully (note that word) customize their computer to act the way they want it to just because you can't run jack or configure all that you want on your "real" mac.

I hadn't realized they invited people with no clue to the conversation...ummm...yeah, anyhow... I would assume you would know that id and name attributes are the same thing in what their purpose is...though why does javascript only "getElementById()" and not name? What about DIV tags not fully implementing CSS styles and javascripts for both name and id? There is zero point for having both name and id in the languages, but no...instead the W3 needs to invent useless languages that no one except the "extreme-I'm going on 30 and need to feel like I'm catching on the big wave of programming again-careless of limitations until it's a failed project" programmers will use. Good job Tim Berners-Lee. Making me proud (tool).

  16. Oh God, not again... on Why You Should Use XHTML · · Score: 1

No! NO!! Why are they wasting time on this stupid, non-usable language?!?! It makes me want to rip out my face and say "BLAAHAHA". Geez, why don't they fix CSS first and try doing something GOOD, like making the id and name attributes the same or both handled in CSS and javascript. Pathetic. I hate life. XHTML gets the official *thumbs down*!
