Why the hell are people so upset when people or businesses set their own Caller ID? Caller ID was designed to be manipulated. What Caller ID number do you suggest Google sends to these companies Lauren? Should they send their own? What good would that do? If I was paying for people to call me, I think it's appropriate that Google sets the Caller ID to the number of the person calling, so I can see who I'm talking to. It's a perfectly legitimate business use. Also, you do realize that Google calls you back at the number you provide, BEFORE they place the call to the company! So it's not like they let you specify a bogus Caller ID for the call.

Bell South is the most selfish telco out there. I havent heard of these guys doing anything good for a long time. They are evil. This doesnt surprise me at ALL. They have a terrible PR department.

I know that some of these voip providers MUST be tapping lines already. maybe not on a large scale like the feds would want but im sure that theres no way that some voip lines arent tapped already.
Does anyone know how theyre currently tapping these lines? Are they doing it on the PSTN gateways? On frames somewhere? On your Terminal Adapater even???! anyone know?
Just so everyone knows, my account has since been terminated by NuFone for apparently somehow breaking the TAC's on their website, due to this artcile.
So everyone talked about what programs people should use to get rid of the data, but what i want to know is what program did this firm use to extract all this data off the drives? Id like to test this out on my own and see if i can recover some stuff off a recently formatted laptop!
I think gmail looks pretty leet so far. i REALLY dont see what the big deal with the whole ads thing is either. Doesnt sound that bad at all to me and im glad the author of the review felt the same way.
Does anyone have any idea when gmail is gonna launch?????!
