Actually, pull your head out of your ass, the US one of the offending parties here. You must be pretty fucking retarded to compare this to WW2. Like the US is invading iraq and mutilating prisoners out of the goodness of their hearts... gimme a break, fucking retard.

If they knew what they were doing, they'd just get a java-enabled cellphone, and if it wasn't called within some time gap, and the signal suddenly dropped to 0 because it was being jammed, the phone would detonate the bomb based on that. Jamming is just one more hoop they have to hop through to set off the bomb.

Well, if you were out of control and were going to land in a residential area, you could smash up houses, plow kids away in the street. Downtown you could slam into office buildings. Some would do it on purpose. I'd love for the to become common, but I think someone should invent forcefields for buildings first... :)

Well, unlike you, some of us europeans have reason have to faith in our governments. They provide us with nice things like superb free healthcare, fair unemplyment benefits (and when people are laid off, they don't usually sit around collecting benefits), the right to strike, and my employer cannot fire me without a good reason (that is, individuals being fired because the boss' girlfriend asked him who that hot guy in cubicle 4 was :) However, they can still lay off everyone at a branch office because it is no longer economically viable and such, which is fair. I lived in the US for a while, and everyone was constantly worried about stuff like benefits from their employers. Some people I know didn't have job contracts, even though they had had the same job at the local university for like 5 years. They picketed the university for half an hour during lunch, then went back to work. Nothing happened, and they couldn't go on strike. Sad.

Seriously though, drunk drivers etc would be a REALLY big problem with these. We'd have to implement some kind of blood test device in the car, checking that it is indeed the owner of the car it's taking a sample from, and checking the alcohol level at the same time.

Apple shouldn't have an exclusive right to it, though. This sets precedence, so that next, someone can patent other generic things, like start menus, multiple desktops, clocks, directories etc. Or it may be thrown out. I hope so.

Dear maker of free beer. I noticed you said you can't spend any more money on free beer for everybody and are going to stop giving it away. I am MOST DISPLEASED WITH THIS. It is your duty to provide everyone with free beer.

Well, if you came over here, you'd probably not have to pay anything except the registration fee for each year (~$150), just like the rest of us. Everybody in scandinavia in general speaks english (not "everybody", *everybody*), so there wouldn't be a communtication problem, and you'd probably learn the language in a couple of months. Americans that are staying here are saying it hasn't been a problem. You sound more like you wanna go to Japan though, that's up to you.
