    Best way to deal with iTunes for Windows is to just buy yourself a Mini...

    At that point, simply:
    • connect to the Mini over the LAN
    • drag your mp3s over to the Mini
    • drag the mp3s right onto your iPod!

    Trust me, you'll be much happier.

    Politics indeed! Anyone truly religious would understand that if their god was truly all-powerful, he could have designed a system of natural selection whereby the results seem far too complex to have been achieved that way...

    You know, using all that 'divine mystery' that we're too feeble to understand and so forth.

    Problem for Jon Graphicdesigner is that the version for linux won't have Pantone support (according to the company, it's licensed and cannot be "open sourced").

    The lack of Pantone support will definitely be a barrier for professionals to adopt it.

    You can sue for criminal matters by wrapping the criminal act with a civil one.

    There was a criminal case several years back involving the death of an individual. (IIRC, the defendant's name was Orenthal Simpson, or somesuch) The defendant's former in-laws sued and prevailed for "wrongful death" even though the associated criminal charges did not stick...

    Assigning a trademark is not the same thing as registration...

    The assignment you reference is Precision Research, Inc. assigning all of their ownership, rights, etc to Google.

    What was assigned was the application, which is still in process.
