Are you saying that people keep playing the Sims because they already suck at what the game is simulating and want to get better at it?

Because the whole point of dystopian literature is to point out something wrong with society at the time.
Technically it is being written in the present. It's written in the future to show if we continue along the path examined in the book that is what can [will] happen.
I'm reading her books only because a peer of mine worships her for some unknown reason. After I read her books then I intelligently call him a jackass;)
Apparently the book I just started reading, We The Living by Ayn Rand was really looked down upon during it's time.
In fact it took Rand years to just find a publisher that was willing to publish it (everyone else said it was too anti communist)
The Phantom. Ha. If similar things such as these game on demand programs continue I think the Phantom will have no chance.
I mean computers are cheap now so most people can afford them. Computers tend to be a family thing (as they end up in family rooms, they're basically the next tv, etc.)
Consoles are cheap and very user friendly but for the type of gaming (sit and play for a bit) the Phantom may not fair quite as well. At least I think so.

The Sims Online was just was basically just IRC with pictures. I decided I didn't want to pay money to talk to people and make pizza for hours on end.

But teaching kids to be creative is WRONG!!!! we all know that the same tried and true formula is the only thing that will ever work!!!!!
But I always thought that highschool kids were innocent and didn't cause any problems!
