    You have to "decarbonize" limestone (CaCO3) to Calcium Oxide (CaO) to make cement. You _cannot_ make cement without producing a lot of carbon dioxide, even if your energy source is carbon-free.

    Or, you could simply use a different kind of cement.

    Free trade means open borders, unrestricted immigration. That way corporations have to compete on labor as well as goods. If corporations are allowed to move products but people aren't allowed to move, then it really isn't free trade. The EU had the right idea. The TPP, not so much.
