You aren't really thinking in words except when actually listening or speaking or writing or imagining words. The words you hear are quickly translated into brain patterns (called schemata) which happens almost automatically for languages you are fluent in. This happens in short term memory which lasts mere seconds. The idea that you think in words (closely related to the Sapir-Whorf hypothesis) is mostly discredited.
So, if you are thinking about bombing the White House, I suggest not thinking about the actual words "I'm gonna bomb the White House".
War isn't about military superiority. It's about politics and economics. It simply wouldn't do to nuke Iran with the purported goal of reducing the threat of nuclear warfare.
If it fails to gain popularity, then it might as well not exist. On the other hand, if it becomes popular enough to attract endorsements from famous entertainers, it'll probably get shut down by the feds and he could get arrested.
I can throw a book across the room and it might damage the cover of a hardcover, but it will still work fine. I wouldn't want to try this with an ipad or a kindle. Under reasonable storage conditions, paper will remain readable after magnetic platters have gotten demagnetized and CDs have corroded.
It is the job of lobbyists to speak to politicians in order to persuade them to take some action or position, whereas bribery is paying politicians or officials to take some action or position. But since the SCOTUS has established that money = speech, there is no difference between lobbying and bribery.
The price is more reasonable in an Asian market. I picked up some dried seaweed for $4 for 150g. Now, consider that drying removes some 90% of the weight, it's really not such a bad deal. Naturally, there would be huge economies of scale associated with fuel production.
going ahead... The main problem is routine use of antibiotics in animal feed to get animals to grow faster. I don't think you'll find many people against all use of antibiotics. The anti-antibiotics bandwagon is mostly about this misuse, and also about idiots demanding antibiotics for viral infections.
To play devil's advocate, if the prisoner says something while being tortured which can be corroborated against other sources which he shouldn't know about if he's innocent, then it's logical to conclude that the prisoner, in fact, knows something. Of course, this is totally invalidated if the torturers are pushing the prisoner toward a statement with leading questions.
There's no physics reason why MILC cannot perform better than DSLR. The Nikon 1 does implement phase contrast detection and is a MILC. I'm no photographer, but it seems to me that DSLR is obsolete technology. The optical viewfinder was essential back in the days of film, but today, you don't need it because you have a digital screen which shows you EXACTLY what the sensor is looking at.
Don't worry. The programmers put in a subroutine that automatically informs the FBI when the user crashes more than iMaxBuildingCrash planes into buildings.

Maybe, but I doubt Israel would hesitate to retaliate with nukes.

Hmm, why would they do that?
Your professor could probably publish the damn thing himself with today's software tools, thereby kicking the textbook industry in the nuts.

It's a problem if we are already overpopulated.

That's not the standard definition of conquering. Conquering means expanding the empire through conquest.
We don't necessarily go to war with the goal of conquering or annihilating our enemies.
Yet, it can't be as bad as coal.
Wait... Does my unconscious reducing of effort stack with my conscious reduction in effort when I'm in a group? Uh oh.

a smart TV is just a computer attached to a monitor.
But installing cameras everywhere won't catch crime at the upper levels.

We have already spent the money building them. Why isn't that a good answer?

It just hasn't caught on yet. It took some years for color TV to catch on. We don't have very good glasses-free 3D yet.
Dunno about flight sims, but this is pretty common in driving sims.
I'd rather get something free and decide to pay after I know I like it, but that's just me.
