If your product does not offer any improvements over the one the consumers already have, and if it has to compete with an ever more crowded market space sales of course will dwindle.
Apple might consider increasing the live cycles of their products. After all, there is no point in offering a product with better performance if hardly anybody wants it.
I myself am an Android user. Changing from Motorola Droid to Galaxy S2 and than to HTC M9 were always great improvements. But now with the M10 on the horizon I cannot imagine why I should want one.
They will be dropped by 0.35 % of their users, at most. It appears to me, they want to charge those who use google maps commercially. And as a private citizen, I am fine with companies charging each other
I've heard, they ran into further delays, because the experiment was stolen. Luckily the cameras got a good shot of the thief. It is princess Leia of Alderan
Gotta love those guys in the military though. "We need a holographic display for erm.. battle planing. Yeah. And it needs hd resolution, hdmi plugs and must be hcpa certified"
Another important point of being on the index, is the prevention of advertisements. With Doom and Wolfenstein being shareware games, a ban from shops would not have hit them hard. Neither did a ban for regular advertisements for that matter, because being put on the index can be quite an ad in itself. Taking Doom 1 and 2 from the index was long overdue anyway, for the laws had changed in the meantime which is the reason Doom 3 never even got on the index
The fact that a breakdown has been "imminent" for more than a decade is telling.
Yes I know, and I partly quoted it for ironic value. But the reason, the system keeps dragging on and on without falling apart is, it is financed by the state. The state helps the public health care system with tax money and in turn amasses more and more debts. But the ridiculus amount of national debt in all the countries is a completely different matter.
I don't think the system is inherently flawed. It is just not working right now. The recently elected secretary of health went imho in the right direction by attempting to reduce the costs of pharmaceutical products. I am not sure how good it will work, but it is a start.
But here in Germany we have more than enough problems with our costly health system. Politicians are trying to reform it for at least a decade, because a breakdown has been imminent for decades. So I don't think, it is an example of a good health care system.
This strangely reminds me of Microsofts Desktop in Windows 95/98 and the resulting law suits. I am no programmer, but wouldn't the performance of a desktop system written to support java script etc. be lower than that of a regular written desktop? So, in the worst case it would slow down the whole system.
"Their plan is now to try to steal the energy of the spinning planet in order to create an day that lasts longer than 24 hours!"
And thus Jenova could Finaly conquer the whole planet, if we do not stop them and blow up the Reactors er windfarms.
You must differentiate between the different form of paper. The paper you can buy in a common office shop is produced with emphasis on low price for the purpose of writing on it. Eventually it will rott away, or fall in parts in no time, compared to the millenia papyrus has endured. Actually, I heared that a papyrus archive was created recently for archaeologist to be readable in a thousand years.
Oh, I think they are much worse indeed. But since they are financing themselves using commercials and do not blackmail me, I don't care that much. Imho it would be the best idea to give up purchasing the distribution rights for the german federal soccer leauge. Those who desperadly need to see it can either do so on the private channels, or spent the money in renting pay tv. A common practice that seems to work in the U.S just fine. Concerning the utterly unappropirate sum of money spend for these rights any year, the public broadcasting stations should be just fine to produce any product they want
Nice? The photographs are a bunch of small white dots! Does anyone else see real photographs? I guess he is referring to the "artistic conceptual drawings"
imho the quality of the pictures is kinda nice. you can clearly see the objects and that's what counts
I agree concerning the final product. I suppose it doesn't matter for beta versions of the elevator. In fact it might be even better to build in in the US, since it will be more easy to get american money (federal and private) if it is build in the US.
I also stumbled across this feat installing my car radio in my ancient golf. But I also noticed I never found a radio supporting this. Does anyone know wether they still implement speed based volume controll in modern cars or wether they abandoned this idea?
Yeah, accodring to what I read, the functionality of this device is quite limited. It is not even able to read id3 tags of the mp3s, so one is better of buying a car radio with usb support.
Of course given he can install it in his vw car. I am not sure about this brand, but I know bmw and several other companies had the gatesque idea of making car radio slots, that only match to their own brands, and are confirm to no iso standard in the world
The leading rocket scientist of that time, Wernher von Braun, always thaught about the peace time value of this technology. The reason for him to colaborate with the nazi regime and later with the USA, was space exploration.
Before World War Two and I think even before the Third Reich, von Braun and his crew were experimenting in using missiles for delivering post to small islands in the northern sea. The idea was that a missile could fly when the wheather prohibts a boat from swiming.
This idea never worked out realy well and today it is obsolete of course
Actually The plane was invented by Otto Lilienthal in Germany. Though it was not motorized, it was able to fly.
Real irony is that Lilienthal was a Jew, so Hitler could not use his invention for his propaganda
Luckily I got trained in parralel parking, since it is part of the driver's licence around here, though it did not help much. My tutor always told me turn around the wheel when you are at 45 to the road, but since I am terrebly bad at hunching, I can hardly tell from within my car when the 45 degree are reached, so I was quite happy reading that a penguin could do this for me, until I saw that video. honestly, if the system requires such a vast parking gap, it is hardly of any use.
1. even I could park the car without any problems under these conditions
2. you won't find much of these in todays cities, without having to pay for it.
So I suppose there is yet a long way to go for these systems.
Or I should not try to get in these tiny spots anyway:)

I wear black, until I find something darker. Guess the time has finaly come.

It reminds me more to Asimov's shortstory "That thou art mindful of him"
Well I think I will try orientating on the mirrors, the next time. up till now i only tried with the rear and forward windows
