  4. So I posted this story to the discordian forum.. on Scientists Achieve Mental Body-Swapping · · Score: 1

I posted this story to the discordian forum yesterday morning. One of the first things to be brought up was what a great advancement this will be for the teledildonics industry.

I guess that's what you get in a crowded room full of Popes. I'm glad most of us don't wear the hat all the time, that would be creepy.

The following is commentary on the OP story.

Quote from: LMNO on Today at 07:16:33 AM
I think that one of the most important aspects of Discordia (and the BIP[Black Iron Prison narrative]) is to constantly remind ourselves that we are always fooling ourselves as to what's "really out there". Always.
    ALL THE TIME.

    EVEN RIGHT NOW.

Quote from:Iptuous on Today at 07:23:08 AM
    Fooling ourselves?
or, just limited in scope as to our perception of it?

Quote from: LMNO on Today at 07:24:24 AM
If it was just limited perception, we would see the gaps.

We make shit up to create a cohesive worldview.

Often, the shit we make up has nothing to do with anything.

Why stop there? Let's do random lottery draws to fill the whole damn government, from President/PrimeMinister, all the way down to local city/municipal admins, with terms set at 2 years for the average maximum. And then we reserve the highest form of discipline (i.e. life in prison/death) to corruption/bribe taking. Viola........Random Democratic Republic. You need to research exactly how the SS accounts work. I beleive that the treasury department has only one SS account, and all SS decutions from all paychecks go into the main treasury budget, then they vote on how much of that to throw into the SS Treausy account, and then every-one's SS checks get printed out from that account. Total Scam.

"I don't vote. Two reasons. First all it's meaningless; this country was bought and sold a long time ago. Secondly, I believe if you vote, you have no right to complain. People like to twist that around - they say, 'If you don't vote, you have no right to complain', but where's the logic in that? If you vote and you elect dishonest, incompetent people into office who screw everything up, you are responsible for what they have done. You caused the problem; you voted them in; you have no right to complain. I, on the other hand, who did not vote, who in fact did not even leave the house on election day, am in no way responsible for what these people have done and have every right to complain about the mess you created that I had nothing to do with." -George Carlin
