OctaMED (and later Sound Studio) - music software even today on Windows either seems to be poor, or very expensive (anyone have recommendations? MadTracker is the best I've found...)
If you're used to trackers you should really try Renoise. It's inexpensive and incredibly powerful. AFAICT, the demo is fully functional too, save for being unable to render to WAV.
As other people have pointed out, the word 'law' is not used (anymore) in science; if a hypothesis is experimentally verified, its status becomes a 'theory'. The word 'law' would indicate that it's results are set in stone; this is never the case in science.
the closest english equivalent would be "uy" as in "buy". the G would be best pronounced as in "good" not "germ"
should be real easy for americans - just say "Buy guns" and replace the B with an H;)
have you ever clicked the damn google logo? it's not just a damn google-only bar. it's pretty damn handy if you ask me, and I don't consider it 'fluff'.
And why again do I want to pay for disk images (most games are not ROM) when they have been available for years on numerous sites for free?
I'll start looking interested when they start to produce replacement c64 hardware - but that will never happen.
I hate seeing the commodore name going to waste on some company hoping to make a quick buck. The C64/amiga community can do perfectly well without you, thanks.

You'd be surprised what people still get done with these specs. keep an eye on C64.sk for example to see some demo's.
Being able to code to the bare metal certainly has it's advantages over todays videocards.
yes, but that's a bad analogy of what filsharing is.
A better one would be: is it illegal if you took a photograph of the mona lisa in the Louvre and walked out?
same here.
I use windows and a lot of OSS on it to do my work, but I'd like to play some games now and then and unfortunately Linux is just not an option yet. This is actually the main thing that keeps me form switching. If this truly is the answer, consider me converted.
A thought that came up; if it really DOES work, I wonder what Microsoft's reaction would be... I can't imagine them sitting idly by while people run Windows software perfectly well on Linux.

wait, what? what country allows uninsured motorists on the road?
What if its heat was 'used', in the sense that we're looking at an (ex-)Dyson sphere? that would certainly make things interesting all of a sudden :)

What did the discovery of the planet Neptune do for us?
Great wallpapers!No.
