I've never seen that happen under the three differnt computers I use FireFox on. I have seen some "glitches" in some websites (never/.) in.8 and prior, but I haven't had any problems with the release of.9.
The game isn't supposed to add new content, but rather give you the CS feel in a realistic enviroment. Also, many more respectable sites in the community have covered this including http://gotfrag.com/cs/news/2483/
Also, ID's intentions were to bring you back in the Doom world, only with modern technology.
I suppose Open Source gives people unlimited potential with software, but software can't make you smarter or more sucessful, at least not in the long run.
If everyone had equal access to the same knowledge, how could you be better than someone else? Sure, it may be great for things that you learn in school, but what if everyone had the sense of intuition and the amount of common sense? How could you suceed in a world where getting ahead could mean the same thing as falling behind. Of course, it all depends on how the system would be used, or the lack of the system being abused. There are obviously tons of "what if's" that could be addressed. It'll all be dependent on who answers them.
Couldn't you still be chemically addicted, even without getting the high? I'm sure lots of drug abusers want to stop, but they can't. However, it may give people a reason not to start because there really is no incentive.
I agree. I've installed SP2 RC2 on 2 other PCs without any problems. All drivers, games, and other apps run perfect. RC2 has been out for a while now. Why would it take so long for an article to be released about it's supposed problems with installation? If there was such a significant problem, it would've been known earlier and Microsoft would address it. I don't see a clear reason why Microsoft bashing would be necessary, at least in this case.
Heh, that's why I didn't get the paper until about three in the afternoon.

I know that Church is great for some people, and I didn't question that at all. I was raised Catholic and it didn't work for me. Does this mean I hate Catholics? No. I have a good friend that attend a non-denomination church. I went with him once on a mass that had an internet theme, and I found some of the points really interesting, although I don't agree with most of them. I was merely trying to imply that there doesn't need to be a place for religion in games.

Perhaps the next hit game could take place in an interactive enviroment where you can go to church and pursue a sin free life where you then await judgement day. Wait, since when do we play games for their moral values or for their realism of certain elements (i.e. religion). We play games for our entertainment value. The last time I went to Church, I fell asleep.

Too the moderator don't know the difference between redundancy and trolling.

Outside of video games, I can't think of any game that portrays religon.
