We don't live in a democracy, especially one that works. Mainstream media has way too much of an affect on people's choice as it is. If some people want to publish a sensationalized video with facts that are true, so be it.
As a writer, I use myspace for networking. I know many other people in a variety of different industries (comedy, acting, music) who use myspace as a very powerful networking tool to find auditions and gigs. To these people.NET really doesn't do much for them. So it really is from who's perspective, but it really is more than sharing personal information. It necessarily shouldn't be dulled down to the level of a teenager who just uses myspace to stare at profiles and write irrelevant comments.
What the hell? Adding a second screen to something makes something innovative? How about the PSP viewing movies and playing music being innovative? It's about time technology becomes more universal. I think they're on the right track. Now, what does adding a second screen do? It adds very little added functionality from what I can see.
Are you saying that ADD does not exist or that is over diagnosed? I would agree that it is over diagnosed, and a few of the behavorial problems may be a result of it, but come on. I was a relatively well behaved kid when I was young, and I'm an ADD poster child.
People had the choice of PvP, and I absolutely hate it when people rant on costantly about how they once got 'ganked' (killed by several higher level players). Sure it was unfair, but hey it's a freakin' war. This isn't borecraft, you know. That is not griefing IMHO. It becomes griefing when those higher level players camp the corpse of the lower level player. In WoW, there are guards and NPCs that fight, but they can be taken out too, and it can take quite a long time for them to spawn back. Once they're taken out, it's up the players to defend their town.
If you've ever played a MMO, you'd see that the games aren't made to be played 3 hours a week. Some quests can take up to 3 hours alone. If you played 3 hours a week, you'd be lucky to get three or four easy quests done. These games are made to be played 3 hours a day. If you do the math, you'll see that you really aren't paying much per hour.
Perhaps you should try http://update.mozilla.org/. That's a start if you want customization. Extensions allow for unlimited functionality when you want it or for a very fast and slim browser when you don't. Via editing and commenting a few lines of text, I built a kiosk enviroment for Firefox for the lan center I work at. Can this be done with Opera?
I recently started working at a gaming LAN center, and one of the first things I suggested was running Firefox. However, their GUI disallowed users from doing basically anything harmful in IE and made things pretty locked down. After some snooping around at the mozillazine forums, I was able to start building a kiosk enviroment. I'm really amazed at the flexibility of Firefox. When I'm done with it, it'll look extremely minimal, and it'll be very secure. Let's just say my boss was more than impressed at how Firefox performed and my ability to edit it. It'll be nice not having to reimage the computers every other week because of spyware.
Is being calling a certain race by their staple food such a big deal? If anything, it would say something positive about them as a culture. Us Americans would probably be called Mickey Dees or something. All humor aside, I find it stupid that people find things offending, if the meaning is not intended to offend them. Why even assign meanings to words if you interpret them on your own? The term 'ricer' is now being referred to as a imported car from Japan (typically) with ostentatious cosmetic modifications. The slang meaning of the word is changing and so should the interpretation.
All webmail services scan your e-mail. This isn't a new concept. Your e-mail gets scanned for viruses, flags, and other things. Google just uses their AdWords technology and displays relevant ads. None of the information really gets sent anywhere.
Because this is news, and not a movie review site. If you watched Red and Blue, you know that the creators making another series of movies is big enough of a deal.
You're not alone. What I can reccomend is that you in your preferences, configure the Auto-Reconnect Plugin to hide disconnect errors and have Gaim automatically reconnect.
I love my Audigy 2 Plat with my Logitecth 5.1 (really high quality) speakers. I don't really use speakers much for gaming, but music sounds excellent. The audigy 2 has been basically at the top for what, two years now? Maybe it's not the hardware as much as it is the software. When I play a new game, I have yet to go, "wow, this sounds amazing." New games simply won't utilize a new tecnnology in sound hardware.

How about being responsible for each other as well? Just because you're an adult doesn't mean you can't be nice.

BSOD will be hence fourth synonymous with "mayday."

Can't be any worse than the game, can it?

Oh, that would explain why Linux and BSDs are commonly found installed on servers, right?

Surprised no one has mentioned Spyware Blaster (http://www.javacoolsoftware.com/spywareblaster.ht ml).
It may not be able to completely prevent spyware, but it's free and it seems to do a pretty good job.
Hey. try actually going to the Steam website. There are different preload phases, and they released preloaded the maps.
Since when does this constitute spyware? To my knowledge, spyware sends information to a third party without the user's knowledge.

Did anyone else read: "William Shatner to Star in New Star Wars Reality TV Series." I was about to say..

Daley may not always do the right thing, but I really believe he wants whats best for the city (yes, despite some of the stupid things he does).
Except the polls.

Am I the only one missing the x-files? What ever happened to it anyway? Wasn't the last season without David Duchovny where it went downhill?
Surprised there isn't a movie about this yet. Another Fear dot com on the way?
