  1. Good Comparison: Mac OS X vs. Windows XP on The Ultimate MacDate · · Score: 1

The best comparison that I know of is http://www.xvsxp.com/ XvsXP

Both OSes' features are compared in detail such as:
    -Find/Search
    -Drag & Drop
    -Network capabilities

I learned much about my new Mac on this site, as it explains how to do certain tasks on both Systems. Every switcher should have a good look here. Even a Windows-savy friend of mine learnt new stuff about XP there.

  2. Yellow Dog Linux does! on HP Releases Linux-Based Notebook · · Score: 1

Yellow Dog Linux works well on the white G3 iBooks. The sleep-mode and the wireless AirPort-Card are auppported out-of-the-box. It's a shame, that there ist still noch AirPortExpress driver out there for Linux.

  3. USSR 21 : USA 14 on Soyuz To The Moon? · · Score: 1

The USA was basically earlier in docking spacestuff, landing men on moon, and in deep space exploration.

The USSR was quick in bringing things and people to orbit for the first time. They also did the first succesfull landings on the moon, later even the first automatic rover!

    Check out the wikipedia article.

You use the people's bandwidth you download from. It's only fair if you give something back, fucking leecher.

There are also clients, that allow you to set your upload bandwidth, if you really want to be annoying. :/

  7. Pay the Doctors when people are healthy on Night Goggles Capture Spider-Man Movie Bootlegger · · Score: 1

Like the Chinese did it for centuries. The doctor was only paid if everybody was healthy. So nowadays it is the other way round! It is not in the interest of the doctor to cure you. Because that won't let him make any money.

    We need a health revolution!

  8. It's them release groups, stupid! on Night Goggles Capture Spider-Man Movie Bootlegger · · Score: 1

Not single teenagers who deliver the rips we all enjoy leeching and watching.
They are normally formed by people who are either:
    - working in cinemas, who can easily set up a quality camera and rip the sound CD.
    - savy enough to be able to have acces to high speed servers
    - video editing people, who put together film and sound of other languages. Sometimes some scenes are cut out in certain versions, so thy will have to fix this.
    - some of the rare peple who can lay their hands on some of the preview DVDs for half an Hour to rip it.

This boy is no real danger to anybody.

  9. Definetly watch it! Much better than Bowling f.Col on Night Goggles Capture Spider-Man Movie Bootlegger · · Score: 1

I just watched a bootleg version of the film, because it isn't in the theaters here in europe already. He keeps more in the back and let's other people tell their stories. It is biased but not as much as Bowling for Colombine with it's stupid number playing of deaths by guns. Sadly it is also not as funny as his previous movies. But I am looking forward to seeing it with subtitles in my local cinema on the big screen.

  11. Recharge them everywhere on Fuel Cells for Laptop Computers · · Score: 1

If these things are constructed correctly you could fill them up with vodka for example. That should not be so hard to find at 3 o'clock in the mornig in Las Vegas. You can buy alcohol nearly everywhere at low prices. If they only made them in a way you can refill them yourself. But possibly they are as coles as printer cartridges.

Gotta try to persuade my PC friend to install it. He's been having trouble with his fedora install. This should relief him of his sorrows since he can run OS X now on that machine!
the client will run about 500 times slower than the host) Same on my mac ;)
