    You can klick a scrollbar with your on-buttoned mouse and then drag in every direction eternally, without snapping anywhere. Very convinient. Especially if you scan a big document for pictures. Just klick, hold and forget where the cursor was and move your mouse around frantically.

    If you really want them to suffer. Tell US agencies they are terrorists/islamiacs/camel jockeys. This would be worse for them. I, for one, think prison or jail for such a felony is only appropriate if one is caught for the second time. And even then 2 years should be more than enough. A high fine will keep most from doing it again.

    There are many MP3-Players available for the Mac. Every Player, that acts as mass storage kann be easily filled on a Mac by Dragging and Dropping of MP3s to it. It only has to support being FAT32 formatted, which all I know of do. For some players there are even iTunes Plug-Ins, that synchronize certain Playlists.

    Don't ever mention again internet and secure in one sentence. it isn't secure and never will be. Just as commuting to work will never be secure. There are only different levels of security: if you go by car (Windows), bike (Amiga ;)), bus (Linux) or train (OS X).

    I use Appleskript to create Compressed Diskimages that are then transferred to my iPod. One Klick is enough. I don't have to worry about filesize or resource forks.

    The Netherlands are often more advanced in legislation than Germany. For example in drug legislation and euthanasia.

    I think this is due to the smaller size of the country. Ideas spread quicker in the urban areas. And the Netherlands consist mainly of medium sized cities and towns.
