    I agree that some minor portion of it might go to that, but surely the lions share goes to publicity and advertising. If I recall correctly, Prozac alone has been the subject of over $1B of advertisements.

    Certainly my post was offensive; you'll have that when a group of people communicate without being able to read the others body language and demeanor.

    Why isn't this information supplied anywhere? I couldn't find it anywhere on the project home page, or anywhere in the sourceforge project. Even after downloading it, it was not in the README. (Perhaps I downloaded the wrong release?)

    Wow, thank for you a shining sample of a craptastic project. Nothing on the website even says what the project does!

    How does it change the router? What new features are added?

    Even if you download it, it *still* doesn't tell you anything about the project.

    Didn't mean to intone that XP has to be rebooted often, just that it's very optimized for booting - as many people turn thier computers on and off as they start and finish using them.

    On the other hand, Unix wasn't really intended to be booted every day, e.g. the way XP is*. (MS intentionally made sure the boot up was very fast, running things side by side and some other tricks.)

    Crimony, what is with these morons? They take something good (VOIP), cross it with AOL users, and add completely arbitrary pricing. (This whole "minutes" per month this is *ridiculous*. Like with my wireless provider, you can't claim that the difference between 500 and 700 minutes costs them (and hence, me) another 40$ a month.)

    Just sell *unlimited* service only, one flat, REASONABLE rate.

    And as for the quip about dial up.. Well, for all the actual communication AOL users do, dialup VOIP might be quite alright. :) (I R 7337!!11!!1!one!!)
