Oh no, the problem is far worse. People might download movies, tv shows and music that Bell has exclusive rights to distribute in Canada. This will affect their income and we can't have that.
>detecting the bots and marking their tweets as such could be a great way to help level the playing field and would help humans understand how the information is really flowing through the site.
I just installed windows 10 under virtualbox. Once I installed what I needed, I set it to "host-only" networking. That's how you secure a windows box: keep it off of the internet.
I'm not sure if I'm better off, but I'd like to think that without the GApps package on my LineageOS phone that I'm somewhat insulated from a lot of this crap.
They have to pay for the Language Police with something. It's a very important government service to deny people the right to use english, which the most commonly used Language in Canada and one of our official languages.
It's a lot cheaper to get a degree when tuition is only a couple of thousand per term and you only have to take transit from your parent's multi-million dollar, 70 year old vancouver special.
I live in Vancouver. I hate it. Looking at the rest of the country, it isn't much better.
If I ever have kids, I'll be pushing them to get master's degrees so they can get mobile out of this country to places where they can actually make some money and have it go somewhere, like towards owning a home or having a decent retirement somewhere where it stays warm and sunny year round.
1. Public Transportation is often heavily subsidised by government 2. I dare you to drink water from Lake Ontario. 3. It's not free. That's why you pay about 50% of your money into income, sales and excise taxes.
I'm more concerned about the trend to https-only on the internet. Eventually the only ports open will be 53 and 443. At that point, the internet will be silo'd into a consumer-only model just like cable TV. I think you can imagine what will happen past that.
I'm hearing a lot of excuses. (insert whiny voice) "oh, I'm too short. It's all old people. it's boring..." My Dad would STILL smack me if I said something like that today, and we've got 25 years between us and my teenage years.
If you don't want to go to the park, then go hiking in the mountains. Anything so I don't have to listen to the whining.
This is where a wine port to windows could come in handy.
Unfortunately Bell is THE telephone company in the east and a lot of people don't really have the option.

I thought they were protecting all the illegal aliens.

I thought that's what the blue checkmark was for.

That's why you find a new job that starts just after you get back from vacation.

I'm sure that the Amazon endgame is now "zero" oracle products.
not using GMail has solved all my problems with GMail.
Nonsense. The tv just won't turn on unless it can reach the authorization server.
I'm curious, and how do you spend your free time?
Shitposting on slashdot?
And if you make it illegal to leave, those productive people become less productive to compensate.

I would love to see the US pull back its troops from the rest of the world. And not because they are interfering.
I just want to watch the rest of the world realise how fucked they actually are and the accompanying weeping and gnashing of teeth.
They have to be. They have the highest tax rate in the nation.

I hate these arguments. Especially #3

More like Canada's US Immigration reject alternative to Seattle. You go there because you aren't allowed to immigrate to Seattle.
It's a combination. modern music is so badly composed, performed and compressed that there is no difference between the youtube rip and a CD.

It's more like "Idiocracy". The smart people are not procreating. The dumb ones are. And that's the sad fact.
