    It might be that you need 12 different recievers to make it legal. That should however not be an issue.

    What I would also love to see is this going to court God against the copyright law. Who will win? And if copyright wins, doesn't that mean that there is no God?

    Watch the news that the majority of the people think is news and you will understand. Here is a hint: It starts whith an F and it rimes with Fox News.

    It happend because the media is not interested in truth or journalism. They are companies and sell their souls for a few extra viewers, so they can satisfy their customers, the advertisers.

    That was the reason they played along with the bullshit and still do. And people still think jouralists are objective people. Most of them are not and the ones who are, are either unimportant or edited.

    Start explorer, go to soldat directory, open soldat.exe properties. Set compatibility to Windows XP/SP2, disable Aero for this program, run as admin.


    And that is why Windows is much easier to use then Linux. The people I know would already look at me as if I was a fish when I would try to explain step 1.

    The last step (if I would ever get there) would result in running everything all the time as admin.

    If this is your advice to people, you are to be blamed for all the spam I get.

    Many of those people will be willing to put adds on their sites, where they do not so now.

    I was aware of that. Also if you can search for a specific filetype, like .doc, .txt or indeed .torrent if you so desire. Do a search on the following:
    Harry Potter Goblet Fire filetype:torrent
    That will reduce the noise to a mere 152.

    So where can we now sue Google and /. and myself and my provider and all the ISPs that transfer this data and the people selling the computers to read this and ...

    Seriously, what if I posted a link to an illegal torrentfile here. Would Slashdot be responsible for it? Is TPB actively doing something, or passively letting others add the links?

    How about one second per unjust suit. That would still give the oppertunity for people who make an honest mistake, yet people who do it by default will be fried.

    The "Hit by a bus" thing I often see when people are either sick or on a holiday and nobody is able to tell what is going on, which leads to frustrations by people depending on certain input.

    This can go from billing to system maintence to whatever.

    The best solution, I have found, is to have at least three people able to do a certain task. ! person doing the task, one as a backup, who will still do the task once in a while as to be able to be up to date and a third as backup for the backup.

    The main person is give the responsability of 'his' project. Ownership will cause involvement. This will almost always also cause a more streamlined process. As it is 'his project', he will work harder for it, compared to 'the bosses project'.

    The main thing is to do it TOGETHER with the people, not in spite of them.

    In Belgium (Europe?) recieving an SMS or even a cellcall is free, exept for special numbers. So when I send an SMS to my friends, I pay for it, not the reciever.

    This should be normal, as the reciever does not have any influence at tho wether he will be recieving the call/sms or not.

    The special priced numbers are officialy telling you how much they will charge you, how often and also on how to turn this off, the moment you so desire. And you have to request it yourself first. (Yes, there is some abuse, obviously, as there will be with everything that involves payment)

    It is as if people would be sending me snail-mail and I would need to pay for it. St00pid!

    Listening does shit. All you get is "I know we can be friends" while the guy who is a complete asshole gets to boink her. OK, compared to compasionate listener, he might look like an asshole.

    In fact what he looks like is self asured and confident.
    Living in your parents basement, while coding perl does not show the needed confidence. It just is not that 'sexy'. being a manager, thus contriling others does. No matter how good or bad you are at it.

    It all depends on whether you want nookie or a relationship, I guess. It seldom can be both.

    A few weeks? With me that was a few minutes. And that was if I got a kit, which was very seldom. Also I seldom left anything over night. The dolls did not even exist, so I had to mae them myself.

    According to the RIAA, TPB accounts for something between 6148.87% and 7289.42% of all trafic. That is calculated note by mere technical people but by their accountants looking at the predicted loss due to TPB.

    Would it not be more obvious that if somebody actualy IS a lawer and wants you to take his advice, that he would state so specificaly? Sort of an opt-in instead of an opt-out.
