This is slightly off topic, but I hope this technology develops fast enough to get Stephen Hawking some great things before he dies. I'd love to see him given something that would allow him to type letters just by thinking of them.
I have a high GPA and I choose not to use Facebook because I don't trust the company and dislike many aspects of its structure. Perhaps the correlation is along the lines of the smartest people being the ones who avoid it? (Not to brag of course.)
Of course, I don't have a stellar social life, either.
That's not a good idea, and this is why: 1. Just because everyone has guns and is theoretically "educated about their use," that doesn't mean all of them are good shots. One man with a gun will cause less destruction than if there's one man with a gun and sixty people trying to shoot him. That many guns going off would probably lead to more causualties, not fewer.
2. When the police arrive on the scene, they will see many people with guns. How will they tell which one is the maniac and which are the innocent people trying to protect themselves? When there's only one guy with a gun, the police can tell instantly which one is the dangerous one.
Think about this. Maybe there are more PC games than Mac games, but there are also a heck of a lot more console games than there are games for the PC. I'd say maybe, 1 out of every 16 games released has a PC version or is exclusive to PC. I'm getting sick of it! More PC games, NOW!
My thoughts exactly. He may have a roll-away christmas tree, a cat bathroom, and an observatory shaped like his head, but unless he also has high-bandwidth servers, his site's gonna crash!
I switched to AbiWord more than a year and a half ago because word was too slow and it crashed a lot, sometimes destroying documents. AbiWord can edit tons of file types, including PalmDoc, which I use a lot on my PDA. It was very easy to switch, too, unlike the windows-linux migration I'm currently taking on (ergh..)
I highly recommend AbiWord.
I haven't seen many movies, but in my opinion Star Trek V was a very very very poor movie. I'm not at all glad I saw it. I've loved other star trek movies, but star trek V is just.... bad.
I know a little girl who can't talk yet (at least, very little), and still eats everything that gets into her hands, and she has successfully booted up her family's Windows box and started one of her favorite games, all by herself. If someone this young can use the average computer (working Windows box) why on earth would we need to simplify a computer so kids can use it???
Sci-fi has indeed run out of steam! Luckily, science fiction is still quite healthy.

...does this statistic take into account PlayStations, laptops, and other electronics which include Blu-ray players?

What does Windows need an ad campaign for anyway? Is Microsoft afraid that their huge and practically unchallenged marketshare isn't big enough?
Everyone who's read Babar and Father Christmas could tell you that Santa Claus lives near the tiny village of Prjmneswe.

"Sue unto others as you'd have them sue unto you..."
Needles don't always GIVE, you know. Sometimes they TAKE. Consider blood tests. Also I doubt this could be used for continuous intravenous flows.
So the fear of needles will by no means become a thing of the past. Besides, there will probably be people who are afraid of these things, too.
What does the PC have that the Mac doesn't?
;-)
Window$.

This is creepy. I'm afraid it will keep me up all nighe! My skin will crawl and I'll feel icy the day my computer speaks to me now.
