A corporate web designer's job SHOULD be to make the web site look nice and make it easily navigable. Code is not the first priority. Why pay for a code monkey AND a web monkey if you only need very basic code with a nice layout?
CALM DOWN! Relax. I didn't say you were forced to do anything. In fact, you can listen to SACD and HDCD on any CD player, so don't get all upset when I want to listen to the same disc in my car in stereo and in 5.1 in my house.

actually, MD's are pretty good for portable recording. They sound better than cassette and the portable recorders aren't $1k like portable DAT
