    No, this would simply mean the distro will be bigger. So unless you are not downloading the distro, the result would be longer wait (whether you like it or not). At least as a separate package, you can install it IF you want to.

    Please don't provide a link by that name when you are not really linking something about wikipedia. The problem occurs when someone is searching for articles posted by slashdot on wikipedia (google site:slashdot.org wikipedia). This set of posts would show up because it has a link named wikipedia and googlebot thinks, oh this converstation must be about wikipedia.

    This is what they call noise in the search results. It is, unfortunately, a widespread problem on the web.

    Amen. One of the best things I did for myself was to remove the Terrible Time-wasting Triumvirate. I suggest you do the same if you find yourself being victimized by them.

    Actually, more often than not, a bug appears when a certain scenario is overlooked. When discovered, a patch is written to fix the bug.
