  1. Firefox on Mozilla 1.8 Alpha Released · · Score: 1, Interesting

I wonder when, if at all, we'll see these new features trickle down to firefox?

  2. Left in the woods? on Water-Cooled Half-Life 2 Case Mod · · Score: 0

That's a lot of work for making something look like it's been left in the woods for a couple of years.

    Sort of like these

    But highly impressive nonetheless.

  3. Passive discovery or not on Snort up For Revamp, says Creator · · Score: -1, Offtopic

It still burns and make you sweaty.

  4. Price on Innovators vs Copiers: HP vs Dell · · Score: 1, Insightful

Competing on price alone seems pretty risky to me. The minute someone else provides the same commodity for a lower price, you're out of business.

  5. I knew it! on Password Memorability and Securability · · Score: 0

I knew spam would come in handy one day! All my passwords are variations of v!agr@.

  6. Looks nice and dandy on Project Gutenberg Made Accessible · · Score: 3, Interesting

But did they have to make the tutorial presentation a fullscreen flash file?

  7. Re:Why do I get the feeling.... on Process Improvements in the Kernel Development · · Score: 0

And I've got a feeling SCO/AdTI would do the same should Linus decide to tie his shoes differently.

"Look! Linux suffers from clothing-related instabilities, why would Linus Torvalds do something like this unless Linux sucks?"

    They're certainly not above it.

  8. Overconsumption on Creator of the Gaia Hypothesis Urges Nuclear Power · · Score: 0

The most sustainable option still has to be to decrease our combined energy consumption. You know, simple things like using low-energy lamps and turning off the lights when you exit a room. Perhaps even (gasp!) walk or bicycle instead of going by car.

  9. Re:Communication Skills on Finally Geeks Available in Action Figure Form · · Score: 0

Engineer-hugging doesn't seem to be compatible with higher-ranking management positions, for some reason.

  10. Re:Lucky Bastard on Cannes' Palme d'Or goes to Michael Moore · · Score: 2, Funny

Funny thing is, Charlie Heston did the same thing to me.

  11. Re:Fair AND balanced on Cannes' Palme d'Or goes to Michael Moore · · Score: 1
The left doesn't like the idea that the WRONG people vote. Why do you think they are working to allow convicted felons, and prisoners the "right" to vote?
    You're a complex man of contradictions, p51d007.
  12. Re:Hipster Geeks Bitching on Finally Geeks Available in Action Figure Form · · Score: 1

I'd rather play with my ... Freud action figure than dignify that with a comment. Damn. Too late.

  13. Re:You want anti-bush underpants? on Cannes' Palme d'Or goes to Michael Moore · · Score: 1

Wow. You actually waited 20 seconds in order to post that. Or did it take you that long to write it?

  14. Re:Cannes and Abu Ghraib on Cannes' Palme d'Or goes to Michael Moore · · Score: 1

I think you need to update your signature. Nowadays fascists divide into patriots and anti-americans.

  15. Re:Predictable on Cannes' Palme d'Or goes to Michael Moore · · Score: 1

I wouldn't mind walking around in a pair of anti-bush underpants.

  16. Re:Documentary? on Cannes' Palme d'Or goes to Michael Moore · · Score: 2, Funny

Ah yes, fox "news". I can't believe one can say that with a straight face.

  17. Re:More of the same? on Cannes' Palme d'Or goes to Michael Moore · · Score: 1

Just a matter of time before some AC posts links to "michael moore hates america"...
