Right-wing hate speech has been banned in this form since Germany exists in its current form, and noone has been 'next', and it doesn't look like anyone will be. It works.
But, as I've read about it...it is difficult to find a book store freely selling copies of Mein Kampf....wouldn't it be better to be able to buy and read the whole thing on your own and make your own judgement based on that, rather than possibly carefully selected passages?
As has been previously explained, this is because the State of Bavaria holds the copyright and does not allow reprinting. Buying/Owning/Selling it is perfectly legal.
TFA is wrong, there is NSFL (No Such F*cking Law) that prohibits "incitement to commit a crime" in Germany. There may be for some special stuff, but for any crime in general, there isn't.
If you had bothered to RTFA, or even RTFS, you'd have noticed that the author of the essay has nothing against Google doing this, he just said that he/the FNL/whoever needs more funding to do the same with French/European books.
The biggest story here is the way the European Parliament and associated croonies keep on trying to get this directive through the backdoor without no reference to the rules, law or democratic society.
The European parliament is trying to get this directive axed, it's the European Council that's trying to get it through.
CryTek is based here in Germany, where we have similar hours per week, and appearantly, they were able to do crunchtime for FarCry. In fact, a friend of mine interviewed for a job at CryTek during crunchtime.
(time to invoke Goodwin..you do know that it was Herr Hitler (at the request of the Gud Doktor Porsche) who laid the groudwork for that fabulous piece of engineering)
and
Germans, on the whole, actually obey the law & only pass on the right
are both wrong, it was not Hitler who planned the Autobahn, it was in planning before he came to power. And the law is that you have to pass on the left, not on the right.
Basically you're right, but both McWizard and urgru use MegaMek in their respective projects.
McWizard and urgru both do not do any coding for MegaMek.
McWizard is the original author of MegaMekNET, and urgru has coded lots of stuff for it. McWizard wants MegaMekNET to cater to one set of players, ie. one online campaign of BattleTech, while urgru wants MegaMekNET (now MekWars, the fork), to be a lot more configurable for different server environment's needs.
Re-read the GP.
Downhill? The product released since FASA's demise is a lot better than the stuff we got previously.
Someone in the shower == soft porn? Oh my, how prude.
So what if Gene wanted it?
He's dead, and I want a quality Sci-Fi show (which in Season 4, ENT definately is) to stay on screen.
Bullshit. There is exactly _no_ emphasis on victimhood.
Only if the TV station is stupid enough to want to show it at 8pm.
What's wrong with USian? American is wrong, if he is only talking about citizens of the USA.
Because there's a difference between toys/entertainment and historical information.

Yeah, let's discuss Airbus funding, because Boeing receives no government funds. Yeah, right.
When people elect people who elect people, democracy is not the correct term.
When people elect people that elect people, you
democracy is of course the correct term, to be more specific, you call it a representative democracy.
I've never seen something like student loans in Europe.
IIRC university is free in Norway.
What's undemocratic about elected representatives selecting a comission? At least in represantative democracies, that's how stuff works.

Wouldn't you be if the site was hosted on a PC of a friend?
Not exactly, MegaMek is the java clone of BattleTech, MegaMekNET/MekWars is a campaign program that uses MegaMek.
