    Unisys got everyone worried about 2 years too late. If they had struck earlier they would have had a bigger impact.

    You'll find that many art schools break web graphics in to full color gif and line art jpeg actually.
    I see it all the time. :(

    In Australia, stores are bound by law to give the customer the lowest price.
    If they print it wrong on in a magazine or on the net then its the stores fault and the customer gets the cheaper price.

    It says 432kbit/sec-per-channel and I'd assume multiple channels would be used.

    Wait...You use Gentoo on 64bit boxes but compile as 32bit?

    No such thing as incompatibilities if your compiling it.

    (I run two 64bit Gentoo servers fyi)

    Its not the size that counts, its how you use it. ;)

    Per core cache is faster than shared cache.
    L3 is better as well because it means it can be used to transfer data between cores instead of main memory.

    Um...XP sales increasing AFTER Vista is released either means that the sale of computers has jumped exponentially or people dont want Vista.

    If people dont want Vista then I cant see their sales being very high.

    Your an idiot.

    The LCD refresh time is the time for the pixels to go from full on to full off then back to full on.
    Since LCDs work on the physical level, the pixels need to actually move (they twist to direct light).

    LCDs arent magic and instantly turn on and off.
