yeah i was thinking about a gmessenger. i mean they already do everything else that msn does .. just better.
well except for msn explorer .. google are intelligent to know what a product firefox is :). oh and msn as an isp.
they could really stamp on msn's feet with a gmessenger.

  5. who would store this sort of info on hotmail ? on Hotmail Loses Customer Files · · Score: 5, Interesting

At stake was years' worth of personal and business correspondence, photos and the itinerary for a recently purchased trip

why would someone store such important info on hotmail ? The notices saying they can't garentee your data won't disappear isn't there for PR. Its obvious things like this can happen so why not store it on something like a floppy. I mean hotmail doesn't even give you a lot of space. I haven't used it for a while but isn't it 3mb ? At least it was a free account and not one where he was paying for extra storage. That would have made it a hell of a lot worse if he was paying for the service.

The rulemaking from the U.S. Copyright Office [copyright.gov] is perfectly clear. If you have rights to the game (as in you own a broken one, bought ROMs from StarROMs, etc), AND you the machine isn't made anymore, you can emulate the machine, even if it has anti-copying built in.

well machines like me are still made so i guess thats why we don't have human-emulated machines yet. copyright is really holding us back :(

this could be useful in mini digital video recorders. away with those 30 second clips some cheap digital cameras offer. 16gb would be great and you could get some good resolution down. all the amateur porn you could make on one camera and being able to transfer it to a pc quickly without much user-interaction would be a good bonus.

its just a matter of dropping the price.

i believe it was 111-1111111. the sum of the digits of the second area had to equal 7.
so 111-1111111 aswell as 111-2020201 would work. the first 3 numbers could be anything.

this was on a lot of pre-98 microsoft cds.
