I can't operate without the google toolbar, which has no complete mozilla equivalent. There are many sites which people can't do without which use Internet Explorer. Many tools that work only with the browser. Apart from that, Firefox is the ideal browser at the moment.
If you pay the artists the normal rates, you should have full rights over the work they produce for you. AFAIKv there's no source in art, just 'the work'.
I've said it more than once that it's a good idea if the proceedings of such meetings can be made available in video, audio and transcript form. A lot of free 'geek documentation' gets lost when conferences like this only choose to cater for those who actually attend.
I maintain a fedora-based server which of course is much better connected than my home machine. At times I browse remotely with lynx to get to sites that require registration before making downloads.

Have you considered the legality of what you want to do here, since by default such a stream will be visible by anyone, not just you? this story mentions some of the pertinent issues. Though you are allowed to record a copy for personal use, doesn't real-time streaming count as re-broadcasting?

If Mozilla Firefox hasn't achieved anything else (besides being the first web browser to be rated above IE by just about everybody), the fact that it would spur Microsoft to resume work on Internet Explorer is an interesting achievement. It, at least, will make the world a better place for WIndows users who are forced to use IE due to ignorance or because everybody uses it (that includes me).
In my opinion, the mirror system is so outdated. Who is going to take the first step to make these ISO available via BitTorrent? I only have a 50gb monthly bandwidth allowance on my host; I am not sure that this would be enough to run a tracker for such a (presumably - because I use Fedora) popular download.

The attacker may well be inside the building; business offices are generally not run as military zones! And what about the windows of the building; will they be covered too? Breaking high encryption is probably not as easy as bribing a staff member to for access.
UK defence contractor BAE Systems has developed a stealth wallpaper to beat electronic eavesdropping on company Wi-Fi and wired LANs.
Instead of qoing through the hassle of covering a building with this wallpaper, why can't system admins just get into the habit of implementing encryption all the way (particularly for Wi-Fi networks?)
