That may be true in Canada, but here in the US games cost 50-60 dollars at release. That, to me at least, is not worth it. But guess what price I do find fair, 0$.

Face it, if someone is willing to download an iso of your game, and find a crack, and put up with not having patches or online play, would they REALY have bought it? I'll give you a hint, the answer is no.

Would that make emulators illegal then?

Emulators will never be illegal, maybe the ROMs/ISOs but, not the emulators. It's only illegal to download/obtain a copy of a game you don't own or never owned.

...While there isn't any emulator out there today that can really do decent psx emulation...

PS1 emulation is right about where N64 emulation is, we have decent, playable emulation for both platforms right now, and it's always improving.ePSXe emulates the PSX almost perfectly for most games, with a decent video plugin. I recently finished FF7 on the emulator (I have the discs but no PS/PS2), and with my GCN to USB adapter it was was a nearly spot on reproduction of my experience playing it on the PS1.

After you have your cart, check out these two projects. An NES emulator on the GBA, and an SNES emulator on the GBA.

Also PogoShell is great, it let's you store text and pictures that can be viewed on your GBA, as well as organize your ROMs and game saves.

There is also an iPod plugin for Foobar in development that will give you all of iTunes iPod functionality. Currently it only can read the iPod DB, but it is in development.

I never understood this. I have a computer in the same room that I sleep and I leave it on at night (running p2p, encoding video, BURNING A DVD) and I can still easily sleep.

If I am actually using the computer then sound becomes even less of a problem because I am either a) using speakers B) using headphones so I can't hear the fans/drives anyway. If you're using the computer with a TV then the TV's speakers will drown out the quiet hum of the fans.

Probably because you think your sticking it to "the man" and being rebellious. When your OS of choice can't run something as basic as flash, it's time to change. Fuck, you could eve change to a good Linux distro, even that would be better than the POS you're currently using.
