    you guys totally missed the point....sheesh.....
    the point is simple ...if you create a totally new tech or idea, then you make major profit, and mankind moves forward greatly (radio, tv, satelittes...fire, wheel etc...)
    if you just revamp an already existing idea (cell phone, iphone, ipad....) then you make money but do not serve mankind.

    I agree, however, there needs to be a more focused attempt towards moving technology forward, not just towards smaller faster and better version of their previous...

    The invention of the radio, tv, microwave, etc....seems to have pushed us forward, however, bringing about smaller and smaller iphones servers no one in the end, except the big companies selling their products...i hope the world will start to push innovation a little more, else we will never make it to the day where teleportation exists!

    I agree, the US seems to forget how they have acted in the past with regards to international matters, and think that now because they are in such a state of panic, that they must bring light to this fact. However, let's not forget the way they acted during the cold war, at any cost get that information....I have to think they must just want to have another excuse to go back there again or something....

    1) send new rover with stuff to help old rover which is lost and/or with dead battery
    2) find rover
    3) boost rover and clean off solar panels of rover
    4) profit!

    they should check the ones that get hit the most by hiked prices...the us and canada....where they pay the most for the least....it might lead to class action lawsuits by the "people" and lead to a better regulated industry. I sure hope that someone picks up this mantle...

    what they mean to say is....they are scared that real info about their products will get out, and that any involvement of a government regulator on said product will now be questioned if everyone else knows that the drug is useless or has too many side effects.....it would lead you to believe the regulators themselves were on the take by those big med cos.

    The 2 pilots that flew into the buildings had all the right id with them, nothing could have avoided that from happening, if they can infiltrate the pilots, you are telling me they cant infiltrate the security companies hired to do the airport security?....Seriously, this is all a smoke screen to let people think they are safe, when in fact does nothing to really protect us. I think they should allow this to happen, although technically if they had strapped a bomb to their chest , no one would be there to scan them or pat them down....

    Either way, I would rather we have more bullet trains for travel then airplanes.

    Hey guys over at NASA, i hope you are reading this....here is what you need
    WINDSHIELD WIPERS.....to get the crap off the solar panels when it builds up......maybe add a special weight caliper that lets you know when some stuff is getting on the panel, then use the wiper to push it off......

    seriously.....

    also - please send another unit that has
                      a) booster cables (for boosting the old one and getting back another rover)
                      b) a broom, to wipe off the soot off the other rovers....
                      c) wide range metal detector, to help find the other mars rovers on the planet...

    the way ISPs tap up the usage on your accounts, this is not surprising, even between themselves....in the end, all the bandwidth we use we pay for...one way or another....if everyone were to treat the usage of web like electricity rather then water, they would be more conscientious. Don't leave all the lights on in the house when you leave, only turn them on if you are using them....same with the internet. Most would consider twice before buying a hot tub due to the extensive electricity use. Same thing with big downloads....less we use, less we apy

    They would if facebook was doing it, and wanted to stay in the game. The whole point to zuckerberg's move to hit the international passport schema, is to have a medium that talks globally, because let us face it, with technology comes removal of borders, soon we will be 1 nation, in 100 years or so....
    If he lines himself and his company to be the first to offer this medium, they would jump way ahead of google.

    Remember both of these companies came out almost at the same time with integrated device id validation with built in sms text for their account access....which now slowly cc companies are adopting.

    Does not matter how many languages you might have learned, you can always learn more. The question becomes how hungry are you, how much cash do you have to go back to school, how many opportunities are at your location and for which language. I would do it in a heart beat if it raised my salary by 10k+...remember...you need to stay relevant, so if by doing so, you also get an increase in pay...why not?

    When i read this, the only thing i think of is the BP disaster and how because of such subterfuge, all was hidden until it was too late, then everything was reviewed, and now seems to be swept under the rug, but we never got anywhere , no trials, nothing happened.....no one was hung for the spill.

    This to me will just allow them to do the same with this industry.

    They both do good on the web, they both try to offer better solutions then MS could ever bring, they bring competitive edge, they are both companies that started off by providing free services, and now built a cult following, becoming a brand house hold name. They would be crazy no to stay together...sort of like ross and rachel!...just wondering who is the guy and who is the girl...maybe the fox is the gurl?

    I might be mistaken, but thsi is still in the beta phase...and needs to tie into real government offices where they can backup your claims of using drivers license...if any iregular photos compared to say ...your real one, then i guess they send up a flag....i am not sure, but i know this is step 1 in a 10 step process by google to try and be the first one's (before facebook) to be used mainstream for id validation ....which ties into banking, drivers license, passport, etc...for this to be 100% functional, they would need to be already tied into those orgs to validate your credentials you are passing to them....such as a photo id....then you could probably see a better ID validation process from them.

    As long as the amount of cells is not too great, ....imagine if you had a viral infection on 50% of your cells....you would lose half your cells, and weight?
