  1. How far to catch him... on Sex Offender Claims Police Entrapped Him With Animated Emoticons · · Score: 1

Yes, people are perverts, end of story.
Put a message saying your a horny 13 year old girl who loves big daddies spanking her bottom, and 9 out of 10 guys will answer something nauty without even flinching, until after they hit the send button and realized that the emoticons and the talk and all the rest was null and void as soon as the age appeared at below 18. I am not sure (DIDNT RTA) but I am positive the officer did say he/she was 13, and at that moment is when the cut off should happen, but most skip or skim lines reading and just catch the pop ups of graphics, and go to the next post....I bet i could get that same officer to be on the stand and become the pervert because if i send 20 messages quickly one after another on MSN, you do not get enough time to read them all, and the line which gets skipped quickly might be the one holding that info about the age.....so I can see how entrapment could have been the guys claim, although I think just too much horniness is more the problem here, if you are going to your computer to solve your sex issues (or lack of), then I guess you are playing russian roulette.

I am writing my own software, and the first thing i thought of was what would avoid piracy of my software....and then i thought about it, and came up with, the App store, what if the price was so low, that it did not pay to pirate it, even for the pirates, as no one would download the pirated version because it would be cheap enough to get your own copy....I thought with a price tag like 1.99$ for a licensed copy of windows, AV software, winzip...etc....you really do not need to worry about pirating so much, and the fact remains at the start of any app's life, it was 1 programmer that wrote the code, then expanded to be bigger, as big as it is today....so I guess my point is this, I am thinking of selling my software for cheap to avoid piracy, and think not even to include a checker, maybe only to verify for updates, and check to see if a license is blacklisted, then pop up messages after x days of "you do not have a license valid for this product, you can get one for the low price of 1.99 to avoid these pop ups in the future......only I see this working for the future...piracy is unavoidable when software/games are too expensive.

Now, actually being able to do this is another story, I have seen services online you can buy that says they can do this, erase all posts and blogs etc, etc....but with google's unrelenting archiving of everything wonderful and internet ....you might have a serious problem, because as you may have been able to say remove the original website's page with that picture of you bent over forward showing your *ss as if for someone to kiss.....you will see that google in some cases actually has archives that date back to 1997 of websites that have been taken down and are no longer in existance...yet remain as a linkable place on the internet for those of us that know how to leverage the power of google...

The idea that this idea is retarded, is retarded.
Simply put, when you add a pay per use campaign on emails, not only does it give you more of a paper trail, it allows the people sending out spam to know they are infected, and after a few times of being charged by their ISP for this extra email, of which I agree should be a cap so as not to offend too much those owners, maybe say a cap of 25$ a month for all the emails their infected pcs put out.....then they could be made to know that this will occur every month unless they clean their machines, this will promote a much safer and secure internet.

The problem is people don't care right now, because they are running pirated windows, and do not bother getting their updates...so their machines are compromised and are not aware....even if they are legit with windows, they could still be infected, and not know it, cuz between u and me, most AVs today suck hairy balls.

I got to tell you , I am super glad they are coming out with this, because it is a first step at least in the right direction, someone else will come out with their version, and so on, and so on....and then we will have options....then we will find a good one of these spam killers...and then all will be good on the internet to play as you wish, spammers will have dried up and died, and the industry will know much less bandwith usage because of less spam, who knows, maybe we will all start to see discounts on the over all bandwidth charges as the ISPs need to spend less on bandwidth and spam filters....
